The hostel was fine and quite clean, but we had a really bad experience. We were robbed in the hall in front of the reception. There is not a person 24 h at the reception and the place is not safe. They don't have any policy for people that are robbed in the hostel and they didn't let us speak with the boss. Some of them were kind to us but still be careful and watch your stuff because it's not safe.
It's so sad to give this place just 1 star as everything seemed perfect, however, the supposed manager treated us so badly I left the hostel crying, almost regretting ever coming to lisbon. He was first passively and then actively aggressive towards us the entire time instead of professionally addressing issues. He instead berated us and when I cried due to stress and shock and asked for another solution as I was not willing to continue being treated like a waste of space he LAUGHED at my fa...

Bel établissement, idéalement situé. Cependant gros bémol sur les sanitaires. Problème de propreté et la température de l’eau des douches n’est pas réglable. De plus, pas d’emplacement pour se changer.

Bathroom shower doors did not close and lock. Showers were dirty. Room doors were left unlocked by other guests.
Die Lage des Hostels ist angenehm in Nähe zu Burg und Bahn. Allerdings hört hier das positive Feedback auch leider schon auf: das Personal war sowohl bei Ankunft als auch bei Abreise (wir waren nur eine Nacht da, es war also die selbe Mitarbeiterin) nicht nur unfreundlich sondern ist auch in keinster Weise auf die Wünsche aller Gäste eingegangen. I should have done more research to know about the million steps you have to take to get to this hostel! The room was spacious and had lots of wall hooks. Bunk bed was noisy to climb into. The bathroom/showers were just okay; you had to keep pressing the button to keep the shower water running. There were no hooks or shelves inside the shower stall.
Very antisocial and weird vibe but ok for somewhere to sleep
I would normally say you get what you pay for but I’ve stayed in like way nicer hostels The bathroom doors didn’t lock, the shower was meh, the beds were super creaky and no dividers or cover between beds, and the lockers were tiny. But everyone was super nice, there were lots of activities for guests to be a part of Overall, it was o-kay—I was only staying one night so it did the job for a place to rest my head!

Die Unterkunft hatte eine gute Lage etwas oberhalb der stadt mit schönem blick überüber die stadt, frühstück gab es für 4 Euro und alle waren sehr nett
The accommodation had a good location slightly above the city with a nice view over the city, breakfast was for 4 Euro and everyone was very nice.

Stayed there for 2 nights, overall a very nice, clean and quite hostel, I would book again
Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt im Hostel. Alles war sauber Und die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich. Die Küche ist etwas klein aber völlig ausreichend zum kochen.
We had a great stay in the hostel. everything was clean and the staff was super friendly. the kitchen is a little small but completely sufficient for cooking.

The staff are friendly and efficient and I feel I have made friends among them, and This Is Lisbon seems to attract interesting and friendly people, so the whole experience was like a family. The terrace is stunning and comfortable. I loved sitting out there, but people tended to gather around the big indoor table instead so I joined them. The bairro, Mouraria, is my favorite place of all.
Chill and cosy hostel in an amazing location. Easy to find, easy to check in and lovely people staying you can have a glass of wine in the evening and family breakfast in the morning. Relaxed atmosphere I enjoyed, even though stayed for 1 night and I didn't expect anything, just a place to sleep. Thanks guys:)

Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I like the list of daily events in the city. The breakfast was a nice option to have. The terrace was amazing
Perfect location, and the beds are super comfortable! I booked a room with 8 beds but it was divided by a wall so i only shared a room with 4 people, which was really nice. The bathroom and kitchen need renovations they quite old. No bathing gel. I really missed a curtain. Unfortunately it is not a very social hostel, the rooftop is amazing but i didn’t see anyone hanging out there which was a pity.
El personal es muy agradable, nos ayudaron mucho con recomendaciones locales. La vista desde la terraza es un sueño. 100% recomendable

La estancia aquí ha sido maravillosa y se ha quedado corta, cuando vuelva a Lisboa tengo claro que repetiré:) Las vistas y la cercanía a los miradores, para amanecer y atardecer, los consejos y la cercanía de los trabajadores. Obrigadoo Marta y Tania:) Nos vemos!:)
The stay here was wonderful and it was short, when I return to Lisbon I'm sure I'll repeat:) The views and the proximity to the viewpoints, for sunrise and sunset, the advice and the proximity of the workers.
Everything was good, it was a cozy hostel and the terrace is magical. There are many ways to get there, and if you just follow google maps the stairs will be a bit hard, but for us this wasn't a problem. We just felt a little bit in danger when we were getting back after 9pm because there are a lot of junkies, but that's a problem almost everywhere in Lisbon.
Amazing again, great brekkie and beers for 2 Euros !! What a view.
