Good place to stay, however, no locker (just a small cube to store your personal belonging but you can not lock it 😅) an no AC. Fans were working pretty good actually in the dorm. Slept here only one night before Coron - el nido expedition, perfect for that!

Had a really nice stay in this new lodge. They are particularly new to Hostelworld therefore there not being many reviews. They have one hostel room of 12 which is spacious and well Air conned. There are 2 toilets that are shared which means you could wait 10muns for a shower but no biggy. Staff are welcoming and helpful with things to do. Free cold water, my and my partner enjoyed our stay here a lot. Very quiet which was nice

We had a lovely stay in Alec Lodge. We stayed in the 12 bed mixed dorms and the beds were some of the comfiest I’ve had in a dorm on my travels. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Facilities were spotless. 😁

It is a very good hostel! Especially for the price! The breakfast was so good. The family who run the hostel is lovely! I recommend to book the tour with them

Stayed two nights, aircon is decent if your bed is closer to it. Personally I loved the included breakfast they make fresh in the morning, you order it the night before and they serve it with fruit. Would definitely stay again

Hostel owner helped when I was very ill took me to the hospital, something I would not have done without his help!

Staying at this hostel was an absolute pleasure! The family running this place is incredibly kind, and always ready to help with anything you need. During our stay, we had some health issues (completely unrelated to the hostel), and they went above and beyond to support us with so much care and understanding. You can truly feel that you’re in the best hands here. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The beds are comfortable and big.

Nice hostel with private beds and AC. By the main road but I didn’t hear any noise. Staff was very nice and there was breakfast included at the rooftop. Toilets and showers were not ensuite but very close and very clean! Lockers in the rooms and good pillows. Everything was good, but this is was not a very social hostel except the staff

Great hostel, very clean and nice beds.The owners were really nice and helpful when I got stuck in Coron for 3 extra days. Not that social, but good location and a nice bonus with the free breakfast.

Such a nice place to stay! The beds were really comfy, although the curtain rails fell off every so often. Flushing toilets were really good and hot showers! Breakfast was great - especially the tomato omelette. Out of the ‘centre’ but only a short walk to shops/restaurants. street food right outside the hostel! Only thing would be that it isn’t as social as other places but it’s ok if you just want to chill out. Host was so lovely and welcoming and helped with any queries.

I stayed almost one week there and the owners are very friendly. I felt like home. It’s very clean, there are hot showers, they offer good breakfasts (from 6 AM to 8 AM) and there are a lot of tours and activities you can book directly at the reception. Only 10 min walk from Coron’s center + Good rooftop to chill

Great place to stay! Felt super clean, looked like they cleaned the bathrooms multiple times a day. The breakfast was also great with multiple options. The beds and room wel good with a good aircon and mattresses. The rooftop is also a good place to sit and chill or work, and to see the sunset. The two owners are really friendly and helpful.
