+ La vicinanza al centro
- Avevo prenotato questo hotel/ostello perché aveva la cucina, così potevamo risparmiare qualcosa sul cibo. Al nostro arrivo ci siamo accorti che la cucina era in ristrutturazione, al suo posto era stato allestito un tavolo con 2 microonde (sporchissimi) ed un bollitore, l'acqua dovevi andare a prenderla in bagno, impossibile! Visto che i lavandini sono minuscoli. Abbiamo chiesto la possibilità di avere almeno delle stoviglie adatte al microonde, ci è stato risposto che erano nella vecchia cucina. Disagi su disagi. Inoltre nessuno ci aveva avvertito che non avremmo trovato la cucina a causa della ristrutturazione. Avrei prenotato sicuramente altrove!

- Esses hotéis com pegada: não trocamos toalhas, não fazemos limpeza diária, não tem balcão de check in-out, com a justificativa de: “proteja a natureza…”, são uma porcaria, sujos, roupa cama mal lavada, nem água na recepção, tap water tinha para os hospedes, depois vi que em todo lugar tinha tap water nos estabelecimentos aqui em Oslo. Só fiquei nele porque reservei de última hora e era o que tinha. Lugar para quem não se importa em ficar em qualquer lugar, por isso os adolescentes dão essa nota boa pra esse hotel.

- Check-in and check-out are done via machine and there is no staff on site, so if something is missing or there is a problem, you cannot find anyone to help. The radiators are turned off in the evening, so the rooms get cold; for this reason, I do not recommend this hotel for families with children. Since there is no staff at the hotel, many unknown people come in and out and sit downstairs to keep warm, which raises safety concerns. Room prices change daily; I booked at a higher price, but the price dropped on the day I arrived. Because the rooms are cheap, they are not properly cleaned. When I arrived, the room and toilet were not clean and there was no hand soap. No one took care of the issue. The rooms are very small, so do not bring too much luggage. There are many more negative points I couldn’t include here. If you are looking for hotel-level service, keep in mind that this place operates more like a hostel.

- No se podía poner la calefacción, tuvimos frío y el agua caliente no iba bien. Tenía reservada para otro día pero la he cancelado por la incomodidad.
+ El estudio tenía buen tamaño.
- Reservé un estudio y una de las ventanas no cerraba correctamente. Como resultado entraba frío (me alojé allí un 14 Enero con predicciones de -11° C) y ruido del tráfico. Tras notificarlo al personal, necesitaron 40 minutos para llegar a revisar y sólo después de insistir. El trato del personal fue muy poco respetuoso porque después de una pequeña conversación en inglés, cambiaron a noruego para hablar entre ellos con risas intercaladas. No sé si esas risas eran por la situación que nosotros reportábamos, pero lo considero igualmente desconsiderado. Al llegar de nuevo al estudio con alguien del personal, ella pudo verificar lo que habíamos reportado. La solución que nos ofrecía era cambiarnos a una habitación doble que a juzgar por el tamaño y los servicios que incluía era de una categoría muy inferior a lo que reservamos (no incluía siquiera un armario o un televisor). A pesar de ese inconveniente decidimos quedarnos en esa habitación para poder dormir, teniendo en cuenta que el pago del estudio se hizo al hacer check-in. Por otro lado, para gestionar el reembolso parcial, se negaron a tramitarlo por nosotros y la única opción era que nosotros nos pusiéramos en contacto con citybox a través de correo electrónico. Después de pedirlo, nos dieron la dirección de correo electrónico y un formulario de reembolso que ya habían rellenado parcialmente (curioso que el mismo personal del hotel pueda gestionar cambios de habitación y empezar a rellenar el formulario, pero no tramitar el reembolso parcial). Honestamente, la sensación que tengo es que el personal añadía puntos de fricción, transfería la responsabilidas de solucionar el problema al cliente y daba excusas (como por ejemplo que el turno del janitor termina a las 3pm, que casualmente coincide con el inicio del horario de check-in). Han pasado más de 24 horas desde que envié el correo para pedir el reembolso por el cambio a una habitación de categoría inferior. ¿Te han contactado a tí? ¿No? Pues a mí tampoco.

- Letto sporco, bagno sporco. Doccia fredda! Con -5 gradi! L’abbiamo comunicato allo staff. Per tre volte ci hanno risposto “non so cosa dire, siamo al completo“. Non hanno chiamato nessuno. Non sono nemmeno venuti a verificare. Inqualificabili.

+ Our room was spotless. We loved the heated tiles on the bathroom floor, as well as the modern fixtures. We did not hear any loud noises in the building. Also, we had a nice view out of our window. The building had loads of modern conveniences, and friendly people throughout.
- There was not anything we didn’t like. If I had to write something here that needed improvement, I would suggest including a facecloth, or two, in the bathroom. However, we did have full-size towels, and ample hand towels to use, so we were still fine.

+ The position is perfect
- There is no staff at all
+ There was no single human being to ask anything or find anything.

+ The location is very practical.
- The windows were poorly insulated
+ The room was clean, quiet and covered my basic needs for a one-night stay. The location was very convenient for the station and Karl Johan gate.
- A bit sad to have no friendly face at reception. Could have been some information about breakfast options. The experience was very impersonal.
+ Rent, god plass og gode senger. Veldig sentralt samtidig som det var tilsideliggende og dermed mer rolig.

- The hotel feels old, and it feels like it hasn't been updated or renovated in a very long time. Although everything "works" - the room and the facilities feel almost at the brink of being broken, so the feeling was like staying at a lower-level hotel than I was expecting. Also, the people staying in this hotel didn't seem nice, as we had one night where some random people were screaming and shouting in their room and then outside of their room for a few hours. I wouldn't stay here next time.
