Raymi House Hostel

I cannot give this place a good enough review! It is relatively new and very well cleaned so no problems there, but what really makes the experience is the staff; they are so helpful, happy to talk and teach about the local area and Chile in general, and create an atmosphere that really feels like a home away from home. Your trip to Arica will be improved 1000% by staying at Raymi House Hostel :)

Cute hostel but a bit further from the beach/town centre. Kitchen is well equipped but only one bathroom for all guests means lots of waiting. Not very sociable but loud music playing until late in the night. Can get quite warm in the rooms.

The hostel has all the basics, I didn’t meet any English speaking people and only one other guest so not much socializing. The staff are nice and helpful :)

Très bruyant et tard le soir. Chambre privée très propre mais salle bain et cuisine laissaient à désirer. Lieux communs à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur. Pas de AC ni de fan dans chambre privée. Fan dans chambre partagée.

Das Hostel ist an sich schön. Die Voluntarios waren sehr nett und haben uns auch bei Fragen geholfen. Der letzte Abend hat uns nicht sehr gefallen und führt auch zu den Einschränkungen bei der Bewertung. Im ganzen Hostel waren 4 Gäste, am Abend kamen dann aber ca 10 andere Leute, ich schätze Freunde des Hostelbesitzers, und haben gekifft, getrunken und laut Party gemacht. Um 12 mussten wir bitten die Musik leiser zu drehen, was wahnsinnig unfreundlich beantwortet wurde. Gäste sind nicht wi...

What a gem…as I walked up I saw a cat on the rooftop overseeing the guest coming in…I felt protected and welcomed. Then after ringing the bell the door opens to a smiling soul named Izzy…she brought me in and filled me in to all the amenities of the space. When telling her I was vegan she found me options; going above and beyond. The stay was pleasant and I slept well…in the morning I took a nice stretch on the roof and even did a workout on then gym equipment. Thank you again Izzy!!

Standard hostel with very helpful and welcoming staff. Decent place to stay if passing through town

Un lugar muy agradable con espacios muy oportunos para cocinar y relajarse. El personal es muy amable y siempre atentos a lo que necesitábamos. Muy recomendado para hospedarse en Arica y conocer sus playas, del Morro, su cultura y su gente. Cocina equipada y terraza amplia para parchar.

staff are all kind and helpful. very easy to make friends and have a good time in this hostel. clean rooms and a nice patio to drink from the rooftop bar or have a smoke. i had a great time staying here thanks to the raymi staff!

From the moment I walked in, I felt completely welcomed at this hostel. The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond, one of them even walked with me to the grocery store when I first arrived so I wouldn’t have to go alone at night. es un lugar muy acogedor y te hacen sentir como en casa, el equipo de voluntarios es increible y siempre tiene actividades divertidas para hacer, es muy lugar céntrico desde el cual puedes llegar a puntos interesantes de la ciudad. definitivamente volveria.

He estado en muchisimos hostels en mi vida y puedo decir que este es uno de los que mejor ambiente, quizas el mejor. Un lugar en el que uno puede conocer gente de muchos lugares, reirse y pasar buenos momentos. Esta equipado con todo, la cocina super completa, las camas super comodas y una terraza con los mejores atardeceres. Sus voluntarios super atentos para lo que uno necesite, mucha amabilidad. Gracias por estos dias en Raymi Hostel, me senti como en cada. Volvere pronto.

Hostel tried to force us to leave a positive review in order to get our refund. Sketchy and weird vibes/atmosphere, no hot water or cooking gas one night and volunteers act like you’re living in their house and annoying them. WiFi didn’t work in room at all. Septic tank in corridor emptied in middle of day and sloshed all over floor so hostel smelt of 💩. Would stay literally anywhere else if I had my time again.

Très bon hostel. Il est récent (seulement 1 an). S'il y a un soucis, le propriétaire est réactif (on ne captait pas bien la wifi dans la chambre femme, il a mis un routeur). Une très bonne adresse avec des volontaires très sympas.

Es un lugar fantastico para conocer la ciudad,las personas son muy amables ! Las instalaciones son geniales y la terraza hermosa
