Villa Agas

- The person who checked me in thoroughly embarrassed himself. He walked me to the room, stepped inside and walked up to the bed. He asked me "Is the bed okay?". He then started laughing while pointing at me, then at the bed. He then started making big movements with his arms, again pointing at me and the bed, laughing even louder now. I stood there watching his unhinged behavior in total disbelief. Finally I had to raise my voice and speak to him sharply to make him leave. It is unbelievable that anyone would choose to promote their business in this way.

- The room was dirty and everything from bed to shower room was broken. There was no facility

- 受付の男性の態度が高圧的で喧嘩腰。パスポートを投げられたのでさすがに頭にきてクレームを言った。チェックイン時間前に荷物を預けられると聞き、部屋に入れないのは承知の上で早く荷物を預けてサントリーニに繰り出したかったのに、13時に戻ってこいと言う。バスで移動するしランチの予約もしてるしそれは到底無理、ついでにディナーの予約もしてるから戻りは20時くらいと伝えるとそれはダメだと。ここは18時迄で自分はそれまでしかいないと。到底その時間に戻るのは無理で、只でさえ中心部のバスターミナルから離れたところにあるので無駄な時間を作りたくなく効率的に周りたいから帰りは夜だと言っても聞き入れない。この対応はホテルのすることか？結局、ランチ後早めに戻りチェックインを済ませに向かうが途中で18時回るようなら荷物を部屋に置いておくとメールがあったが時すでに遅し。チェックインのためだけに戻り、また出る羽目になった。サンセットやディナーには間に合ったが、途中の無駄な時間を費やしたことで残念な滞在になった。

- It’s not in Fira. It’s in Karterádos where taxi charge extra 5-10 euro. Staffs ruined the vacation due to their rudeness.

+ 5mins walk to airport bus and 15mins to Fira city center.

- Staffs are horrible. I told them I would pick up my luggage at specific time later when I checked out because I have to catch the airport bus. However NO ONE was there in reception desk when I returned. I called twice and waited for 10mins. The staff was unhappy and walked slowly IN PURPOSE which made me miss airport bus for sure. The staff said he is the only who works for 10 hours daily. My 10 mins waiting is nothing.

+ While the staff onsite are helpful, the owners should invest in heaters and hot showers. Due to this and the fact that the owners of Villa Agas was not willing to change the date of booking without me paying a penalty amounting to 70 percent (40Euros), a one star is probably appropriate. I would say that it’s quite silly for the owners to damage its business reputation for 40 Euros. Stayed on 29 -31 Dec 2024

- Well, I made a mistake during the reservation and was made to pay 70% more to change the date of stay. The customer service at Booking.com tried to appeal to the Villa Agas (Santorini) to be reasonable but to no avail. So i will let readers make up their minds on this. The location is ok and the staff on the property are helpful. The room is clean but there heater is insufficient to keep the room warm. And if you want a hot shower during the winter months, can’t do so after 8pm because the water would not be sufficiently hot for that. However, the shower is hotter in the morning.

- Não teve café da manhã! E a recepção foi péssima!

+ The location was good. I had a terrace overlooking the sea. The cleanliness of the room and the attentiveness of the staff were also very good. They explained things about the hotel and what could be done on the island.

+ The staff were so friendly , welcoming and helpful, it is perfect location to explore the island, short walk to fira and bus stop at end of the drive , room was perfect, had fridge and kettle for my morning brew (im English)

- I didn't like leaving and having to go home 😞

+ Lugar amplio para una o dos personas todo muy limpio, igual a la descripción, la atencion de la señorita recepcionista fue maravillosa. Gracias.

- La limpieza, la decoración estaba sin mantenimiento.La humedad de la habitación.

+ Το δωμάτιο είναι πολύ άνετο, διαθέτει όλες τις βασικές ανέσεις, υπάρχει αρκετά μεγάλος χώρος Parking, το σημείο είναι πολύ ήσυχο ενώ ταυτόχρονα είναι πολύ κοντά σε καταστήματα εστίασης.

+ Η τοποθεσία του σε κεντρικό σημείο, απέναντι από φούρνο και σούπερ μάρκετ.

- Η καθαριότητα μεγάλο μείον, ειδικά στο μπάνιο. Τρίχες παντού, λεκέδες στη λεκάνη, άλατα στις βρύσες καθώς και μούχλα στην μπανιέρα. Η τιμή του δωματίου ήταν χαμηλή, αλλά βάσει της βαθμολογίας 9 στην καθαριότητα, περίμενα ένα τίμιο και καθαρό δωμάτιο. Παραβλέποντας τα έπιπλα τα παλιά και τα ξεθωριασμένα λόγω της χαμηλής τιμής, θα περίμενα έστω στην καθαριότητα να είναι τίμιο, αλλά έπεσα έξω.

+ Bien situé près arrêt autobus, point de vue Fira, boulangerie, épicerie. Hôte convivial, grande chambre et terrasse.

- Lit peu confortable

+ Πολύ άμεση επικοινωνία και ενημέρωση για ότι χρειάζεται, όμορφο καλωσόρισμα, μας έδωσαν και προτάσεις για την περιοχή. Το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο με όλες τις ανέσεις και παροχές και οι φωτογραφίες ήταν ακριβείς σε σχέση με το δωμάτιο. Η τοποθεσία πολύ καλή έχει τα πάντα γύρω γύρω και βρίσκεται στη μέση του νησιού δίνοντας ευελιξία στις μετακινήσεις. Το ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ είναι πολύ καλό εάν έχεις αμάξι.

- Θα μπορούσε να είναι κάπως πιο καθαρό.

+ There is actually a bus stop right across street from the hotel to the airport, so that you don't need to go to Fira to take the bus to airport
