Tequila Sunrise Hostel Surfers Paradise

It's one room with 100 Beds in it. There is a sign saying to be quit in the room and respect the daysleeper aswell, which is super nice. But i spend there 2 weeks and at 10 am someone start to drill, hammer and fix what ever for hours, till late. It's impossible to sleep during the day.

No hay suficiente espacio en relación a la cantidad de gente, no caben ya más cosas para guardar en muebles ni refrigeradores, NO HAY VASOS!!??? Nadie seca los platos, los dejan ahi mojados, un asco. Pocos baños, duchas decentes. La comida un asco, nunca había comido una pasta TAN MALA.

not safe at all. do not stay here if you are a solo female traveller i had a very bad experience here

I arrived to check in and was refused accommodation because I didn’t have an international passport. They obviously don’t like Australians. Had to try and sleep in my car in the crime ridden Gold Coast. I’ve never felt so insignificant in my life.

Just felt dirty, the toilets and showers were clogged up and cramped. I thought i would stay in the 100 bed dorm for fun and a good way of meeting people, but it was super antisocial, full of long term residents who were super unfriendly, and also a lot of other backpackers who were also very unfriendly. at night they have a "strict" no noise rule but a couple came back and were being super loud for a few hours and nothing was enforced. overall, antisocial, unclean and not much going on.

alright hostel, prices too high for what you get but good location and staff were friendly

Only good thing is breakfast and dinner!

Hostel was not very friendly, the long stay workers, wouldn’t even say Hi! Very expensive. Free dinner in the evening was horrible. Not clean as I found drug needles down the side of my pod. The hostel didn’t even offer me a refund. If your a solo travelling don’t go here.

J’ai vraiment adoré mon séjour au Tequila Sunrise, bien placé, confortable et propre je ne peux que le recommander ! Le personne est adorable, petite mention spéciale pour Mohammed qui a été au top ! Thank you so much guys 🤠

This is legit my favorite hostel ever and Caro is so lively I love the activities so much

Overall a nice hostel but if you’re only staying for a couple days and want to meet people it can be a little tough. Having to be quiet in the dorm room is understandable but if you’re a solo traveller it doesn’t really allow you to make friends. If you want to keep yourself to yourself though this is a great hostel. Free dinner is really nice and the place is well kept.

Cette auberge est l’une des meilleures que j’ai pu faire ! Un gros plus pour Alicia la manageuse qui fait tout son possible pour rendre le séjour agréable !

Everyone is respectful of being quiet in the room so it’s not loud at all. The food is okay, can’t complain and the hostel is very clean. Cons: The staff doesn’t organise any activities during the week and there are very few english speakers so not very social. For a hostel of 130 ppl there are only 2 sinks to wash dishes. So if ur just looking for a place to chill and do things outside go for it if ur looking for a social place ur better off somewhere else

I loved to stay in Tequila Sunrise. Staffs were very kindly and helpful. Everything was very clean too. I want to come back again.

Hostel was friendly, clean and you could get a good sleep there. Activity’s with carol was the best.

such a nice place to be if you want to meet new people and make experiences, the staff is super nice and there’s a lot of activities to do here, i really loved the vibes of this place, the only thing is to be carefoul of your personal belongings but overall this is the best hostel in town

Stayed here twice about a year apart. The first stay was great and since then the owners have further improved the facilities. The showers are nice the room is cold there’s a laundromat and the location is right where you want to be. Friendly staff and good dinners make this a worthwhile stay. Great job to all involved 👍

Overall this hostel is clean and tidy and kept to a fairly high standard, beds comfy and women’s showers clean (unsure of the men’s). However, would recommend to those who are maybe a bit quieter and to themselves to avoid. People staying here all seemed rude and up themselves, felt uncomfortable the whole time because I couldn’t go anywhere without being stared at and clearly judged. Also the sign for the $50 fine for no talking after 10pm may as well be removed as it’s never put into p...

Great central hostel! Good free breakfast and dinner!! Was a little bit noisy at night time otherwise it was lovely!

The team did a great job in keeping the hostel so clean and well organised. I appreciated that breakfast and dinner included. huge dorm room, though very quiet and tidy.
