Hostal Znika

A great place run by the two loveliest brothers out there. Right in the heart of the Medina, with a fine rooftop and rooms, this is a very great deal for the price. Really simple, no breakfast, limited shared space, some rooms without toilets on the same floor, no heating or AC, so be aware during colder or warmer months, but hosts that will do everything they can to solve any issue and make you feel at home in their village and truly care about guests and the hostel. Overall a great stay.

Gutes Hostel, allerdings waren die Betten etwas durchgelegen und der Social Aspekt fehlte etwas. Trotzdem Empfehlung!

It was okay, but don't expect much social interaction in this hostel, there is also unlike many hostels in Morocco no breakfast here

The brothers, who are the hostel owners, are both very nice and helpful. The roof terrace is very nice with a good view over the city.

This is one of the cutest riads I've been to. It has a great location, very close to the square Uta el Hammam with restaurants, cafes and shops. The views to the city are the best and the brothers that work there, Ahmed and Ibrahim, are the nicest. Always very nice and accommodating.I have to point out a couple of things, though: from the two full bathrooms that are on the ground floor only one has hot water and the house is terribly cold at night this time of the year.

Man hat sich sehr willkommen gefühlt, der Besitzer war hilfsbereit. Wir haben auf Nachfrage auch eine extra Decke bekommen. Im Hostel hat man sich insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Vor allem die Dachterrasse war toll! Einzig der Mangel an Klopapier und die Dusche (danach war der ganze Raum nass) hätten besser sein können. Insgesamt aber weiterzuempfehlen!

Znika is located in a nice area of the medina. Room was nice, clean. The owners were helpful and welcoming.

The best accommodation I have ever stayed in . This place beats every 5 star hotel . If you are thinking of staying just book it now before it sells out . The brothers who run the property really do treat you like family guests . I’ve never felt so welcomed. Well and truly a memory that will stay with me for life and I will most probably visit again . This hostel is the true definition of above and beyond.

Beautiful property right in the medina of Chefchaouen with an amazing rooftop view of the city and mountains. My room was comfortable and the whole hostel was very clean. The brothers running the hostel Ahmed and Ibrahim were amazing - friendly, funny and had the best recommendations for where to go and what to eat. The best hostel I stayed at in Morocco!

Ibrahim and Ahmad are the nicest hosts I've ever come across during my time in Morocco hostels. The two young brothers speak very good English, are being kind and fun and will provide you any information you need about Chefchaouen and your further travels 🫶 I had a single room for a very good price, everything was super clean, especially for Moroccan hostel standards 🙃 Thanks so much!!

Wonderful and charming little hideway in the centre of Chefchaouen old town. The 2 brothers were really helpful in everything, anticipating all my needs.

Salaam. The hostel was a lovely place to stay and the two brothers who look after the place took really good care of us, especially with telling us about the history of Chefchaouen and also in helping us plan the day trips. The location is perfect, very clean and an amazing place to say. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed my stay in Hostal Znika. The staff were super friendly and helpful!

I’ve never written a review before but this hostel was absolutely incredible. Clean comfy beds, hot water, nice showers, and incredible views from both upper floors. The brothers running it are the cherry on top - really care about the place and are super kind folk. Both will give you great recommendations (take them), a history rundown of Chefchaouen, and are open to talking about anything so just ask! Also Ahmed is an absolute icon and we will miss him dearly.

A real nice place that’s tucked away. The brothers that own the place really make it, they are more than happy to offer recommendations and advice - so helpful ! The only downside for me personally is the lack of atmosphere as everyone sticks to themselves. Perfect place if you’re looking for a chill one

we had an absolutely amazing stay at hostel znika! the two brothers running it were super nice and welcoming, and even gave us so many tips of where to go and what to visit, we felt very much at home and cared for. the location couldn’t be better, it is a quiet street three minutes from the main square and the kasbah in the town centre. we highly recommend it!
