- There was no in person check in and passport had to be uploaded or sent via messaging. Not the most secure way to transfer sensitive information. Reception was unstaffed the entire time. Had to message back and forth with the owner to turn on the air conditioner even when it was still hot in August. There was no control of the AC in the room, had to WhatsApp them. They said that it was “cool” in August so refused to turn on the AC and asked for the windows to be opened instead. Only after multiple people in the room asked did they relent. Would not say that this qualifies as “premium” as the name suggests. I think 5/10 is fair and not overly harsh.

Perfectly located, very modern hostel in the beautiful Soča valley. Rooms and facilities were clean and new and designed for high standards of hostels. Reception was rarely occupied though, check-in 16:00 is super late (you can't drop off your bags if you arrive earlier because no one is there) and the door is only secured by a number code. And prices are spicy. You pay hotel prices for hostel experience.

Hostel is clean with a good kitchen. No privacy in the bathroom - showers have glass walls separating them and glass doors so everyone is bathroom can see you naked. Reception is never at the desk if you need something and they charge extra for absolutely everything - 10 euros per hour if you stay inside the building after check out time. 5e for washing but you wash and hang it yourself and use your own product.
+ Un joli abri cosy au sec. Une douche chaude, j'aurais aimé que les vitres des douches communes côté femme soient opaques pour un peu plus d'intimité. Alors que c'est le cas côté homme. Vivre une nouvelle expérience de lit double superposés, partagés avec 3 autres couples. Au moins, nous étions à l'abri d'un gros orage.
+ Beautiful garden, super well equipped kitchen, really clean dorms and comfortable beds, spacious storage for bags under the beds
- We (a group of 23 yo hikers) did not feel very welcome. The showers didn’t lock and were not very intimate (three blurred transparent doors between each other). I put tiger balm on for my hiking injuries (which does have a very strong smell) and was told in an abrupt way that everyone was suffering from the smell. We felt a bit disrespected by their tone and behaviour towards us, although would’ve understood if they had approached the issue differently.
+ Facilities and rooms are great. There are also amazing places above the hostel to walk up to, to have a coffee or eat a meal, which is on the property.
- Terrible staff. One bald man in particular. Really rude. Two hours before our check in we stopped by just to use the bathroom and he gave us a really hard time about it. On the day of checkout we were downstairs just finishing our coffee with all our bags with us and ready to go, he came in and it was 5 minutes past checkout time and he threatened to fine us if we didn’t get out. Really made us feel like we were homeless beggars from the street instead of paying customers. They also charge 5 euros to leave bags before check in. Great hostel but he ruined our stay.

+ This is the best hostel I ever stayed at, twice! The host Anna is super friendly and helpful, as well before and after, as during our stay. The facilities are super good. A big kitchen where we cooked a lovely breakfast, clean and big bathrooms and toilets, and very spacious dormrooms. Every bed had his own curtain for privacy, lockers are included, and every bunk has a light and powerplug to charge your devises. And last but not least, the outside areas are very beautiful. You have multiple terraces that look over Kobarid and into the valley with an amazing sunset. I will be coming back to this place many times again in the future.

+ Gestori molto cordiali, cucina grande e funzionale. Bagni e docce belli e nuovi. Area posteriore con terrazze che sale verso il bosco. In centro al paese.

+ Possibilità di tenere la bici dentro Camere silenziose, ospiti rispettosi, personale gentile Tutto super pulito, letto comodissimo Phon, piccolo asciugamano e lenzuola in dotazione... Ideale per escursionisti e ciclisti, Così si può viaggiare leggeri :)
+ Auberge très cosy, confortable, avec tous les équipements nécessaires. J’ai vraiment apprécié y séjourner
