Great location and comfortable beds. More hotel than hostel
Hemu house is a great place to stay on a budget in Fenghuang! Veronica, our host, was wonderful and helped us plan our trip. Her husband also woke up super early to help us check out of our room which was very kind. Very conveniently located near the river right in the heart of Fenghuang. Rooms were very basic but you get what you pay for and they were still clean.

It's a spectacular show.
It's not a hostel for solo backpackers, but it's a perfect place to enjoy the old part of the city. The location is perfect, the staff is very attentive and helped me with everything I needed, and the single room is very clean.
Great place to stay in Fenghuang, Veronica the owner she can speak English, she helped me with giving direction, and she booked a tour for seeing the southern great wall. If you have any questions she will help you. I highly recommend this place

Calm Peopre and helpful staff and full of good advice.
Veronica and her family were very kind and welcoming hosts. The hotel is located inside the ancient city of Fenghuang, in a quiet street close to all the main places of interest. Veronica speaks excellent English and will help you enjoy your stay, including tickets reservation for the theater, which is really not to be missed!

Geweldig verblijf! Midden in het centrum dus alles is fantastisch bereikbaar. De eigenaar is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heeft ook goede aanraders voor diner, echt een super fijne tijd gehad. Mega aanrader!

Located in the middle of the ancient city, and close to all the sights. Rooms are clean and modern. The host Veronica is very kind and was incredibly helpful in a medical emergency. Would highly recommend this place, but expect more like a hotel than a hostel.
