Seoul Cube Myeongdong

Nice fresh rooms and common areas, me personally would like the common areas to be together with all guest. It makes it easier to make friends. I appreciated the staff very much, I just think they are not trained how they should be. Especially with emergency situations. The area is nice, really prime location. I would like to come back, when the renovations is done, if they update the fire safety and educate the staff in safety procedures.

It was the worse Hostel I stayed in. I traveled in many places and stayed in many hostels, avoid this place. Staff is rude and immature. Hostel staff was drunk in the weekend and was loud until 5am. When I went out from the dorm to tell them I was trying to sleep they simply told me if the door was closed and they continued screaming and talking loud. The next day I missed my bus to visit another city because I couldn’t sleep. In the morning staff was hangover and were loud. AVOID THIS PLACE!...

Staff told me I could check out early and receive a refund for the rest of the 7 days I paid for, but never gave me my refund.

All of the travelers there were awesome. The staff/manager was super unfriendly.

Hostel had a weird vibe. Literally no staff was there to check in just an email with directions, door codes, and instructions. My bed had weird stains on it and no one was there where I could address the concerns. Location was good, felt very secure, but wouldn’t stay here again.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hostel was very disappointing. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was unpleasant, mainly due to the attitude of the front desk manager, whose behavior towards guests was completely unprofessional. I honestly don’t understand how someone with such a lack of empathy can hold that position. The rooms have almost no ventilation, and the smell is quite difficult to tolerate. Nice but not the best

Bathroom was constantly wet and cold. I wanted to do my own laundry but they wouldn’t allow me. They made me pay $7 for them to do it and they didn’t even FOLD it!!!!!! I got my clothes thrown together and wrinkled.

The staff will happily ignore you if they can. I was ignored for 20 minutes at the reception desk trying to check in. the staff just darted in and out of the room in the back while I tried to get their attention. The location is ok but the hygiene of their facilities is average at best.

Super Unterkunft! Nette Leute und super Zentrale Lage, um das volle Touristenprogramm zu machen. Auch die Metro ist nicht zu weit entfernt. Die Duschen waren nicht unbedingt di saubersten allerdings wurde jeden Tag geputzt, also war es anschließend eine Zeit in Ordnung.

De los mejores hostels en los que he estado, la cama muy comoda y elegi solo de mujeres todas respetuosas con el silencio, tenian desayuno lo que encuentro muy bueno, ademas siempre habian toallas en el baño para utilizar, el lugar es muy limpio y ordenado, sin duda si vuelvo a corea elegire el mismo hostel

Good hostel for shorter stays, definitely not for any social travelers. But its cheap and good for solo travellers 🙌

This was a fantastic place, couldn't have been more central. It was super clean and lots of free toiletries. There was breakfast and a well-functioning kitchen. Very good common room, with lots of fun games. There were a lot of people, and they left their things in the way quite a bit, but it worked out Okey! But the main floor was an all girls floor, so that’s good.

The hostel is split into male and female only floors which isn't mentioned. Also the volunteers here made the vibe kind of weird. They weren't very friendly and/or helpful and looked kinda miserable. Upon check in I was given a bed that had someone's stuff in, and I was also mistakenly charged double the amount of my booking on my credit card, and there was no apology. I've definitely stayed in friendlier hostels but the location and beds were good. If you can get past the vibe it's fine

Would absolutely stay again. Super great location, clean facilities, and quiet. Great for solo traveling when you dont want to fear for rowdy partiers. Two small cons were 1) no locked areas for bigger suitcases (though you can keep them in your room and you have a backpack sized locker for valuables) and 2) no staff around so if you arrive early or late be sure you proactively email them to check in /bag drop

This hostel it’s really good, the staff is so nice and everything it’s clean, the accommodation it’s comfy and perfect for meeting friends around the world

Super auberge de jeunesse, très calme, les lits sont confortables et propre! Les salles de bains sont aussi très propres et il y a à disposition des serviettes, super pratique en tant que voyageur!

The location is amazing with such nice staff!! I would definitely stay here again! The communal area is comfortable and everyone is very respectful! The bathrooms have hairdryers and straighteners so you don’t need to bring it yourself which is amazing! It’s a few minutes walking distance from a huge shopping and food street in myeongdong and really close to hongdae! If you are a light sleeper I would bring some noise cancelling headphones as people can come and go any time...

Très bien localisé, très propre et très sympa. Manque juste un peu d’ambiance mais c’est aussi le genre de l’établissement d’être plus tranquille

A really good hostel if you want to go shopping in Seoul. Located right next to the main shopping area in Myeongdong and amazing connections to the metro and train station. My pod and the 2 bathrooms were very clean and had a hairdryer/straightener. Not great if you want to meet people and the breakfast was very simple. Overall, really good place to stay for the weekend and I'll be staying here again when I next visit.

Very tidy and private hostel, very little interaction between guests at times

The hostel is very central. The nicest showers and toilets I ever seen in a hostel. Everything is protected with a code, so very safe. Be careful there are at least 3 hostels with the same name in the same area
