Titan House Hostel

As soon as I stepped in I already smelt cigarette smoke and alcohol.The staff was drunk and not thinking very clearly.Overall the hostel was just FILTHY! The window was broken and it was held up by a shampoo botle.The bunk beds were unstable and had planks under the mattress - and they could've fallen any moment.The bed had like litle bugs and we found sunflower seeds in the bedding.The walls were 6 diffrent colors . The bathroom was especially filthy to and had celiings lower than 1.70 metres

The Titan House hostel is wonderful, but not for all. It is eccentric, elegant and a tad shabby with a wonderful location in chaotic ,disordered streets. Its host is a wonderful man . Who is a charming Good Sarmaritian . At weekends you will be offered hospitality as a guest, which will include tobacco, alcohol & jokes in various languages. Most Travellers will love it, as l do, but it might not suit those with more conventional requirements..

If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep that's a good option but if you want the hostel vibes, I don't advice this one

I spent 3 nights in this hostel. It is very stylish and the location was amazing, close to everything you need. The place lack of usable common areas, especially if you dont smoke. The owner is a nice person to talk to but I couldn't stay too long in the hostel's living room because of the smoke. Even if I remarked I couldn't tolerate indoor smoke, it wasn't taken into account. The first day it was raining when I arrived and late afternoon. I was very tired, I just wanted a place to relax ...

Host Husnu was very nice amazing area. They made me love the city

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you're looking for chill time, defiently yes. The price I stayed in at this hostel, was totally justificable for the quality and all that was provided. Husna, the owner is that kind of chill guy who will make everything works out. I aprechiatte his efforts very much. Would recommend to budget-travellers like myself.

It was like living in a museum, really loved the place. You gotta get used to the height, as if you're on the tall side you might not wanna stretch in the bathroom/shower area. But overall great for the price!

Das Hostel ist super zentral, und deshalb ist das Nachtleben rundherum auch dementsprechend laut. Ich habe mir ein Einzelzimmer gegönnt und demnach nicht viel von anderen Gästen erfahren. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und hat mir geholfen. Ich würde das Hostel weiterempfehlen für Frauen, die alleine reisen.

Humble but cheap and adequate rooms in a very central area. Husnu is a champion. A very nice man who goes above and beyond to help and has a big, hearty laugh.

A comfortable place with an affordable price. The hostel owner is very nice, friendly and makes you feel safe.

Sadly there was a club next to the hostel so there was music until 2 in the morning. It was not possible to sleep before as the music was super loud.

Avoid this hostel. It's the worst. Only location is good. Loud nightclub music until 3am.Dirty and unmanaged. Disgusting kitchen. Bathroom has no shower curtain, very low ceiling. Beds are dangerously high.Bad bed bug bites. Itchy, swollen bumps on arms and legs. Couldn't wear my clothes. Ruined my vacation.Owner just looked, shook his head, said nothing. Irresponsible.Do not stay here. It will ruin your trip.

This hostel that is best location city center,I didnt any transportation problems.The owner who is open to communication on any subject.Beautiful historic building,rooms are clean,atmosphere is very friendly and joyfully,you can find everything whatever you want,people love share.it was amazing experience for me. I'm grateful for everything.

I really liked the space. The beds are spacious and comfortable, I slept very well and got a good rest. The location is excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone backpacking. The staff is simply charming. They are the perfect hosts for a cultural bridge. And the house is incredibly beautiful. 🤩

It is economical and in the heart of city center. Its hosts are kind and take care of their guests. Recommended. (Bilal -Pakistan)

Budget stay with fabulous memories. The building looks like nothing much on the outside, but hides a charismatic interior and allows a one-of-a-kind stay. very close to popular destinations and train station and the seafront. No luxuries, but to me it was all the better for it, offering a glimpse into a traditional house design. Could be cleaner, admittedly, but as I visited during the festive period the usual staff was on holiday I think. Overall memorable pleasant stay

L'espace n'est pas génial. J'ai séjourné dans le dortoire alors ma douche était dans une grande toilette sans rideau et ma tête touchais au plafond (1m74, 5'9"). Tout semblait malpropre, cendrier avec cigarette dans les toilette, dans la cuisine, odeur de cigarette dans le dortoire. Je n'ai pas pu utiliser la cuisine car aucun allumeur (lighter) de disponible. Le proprio est gentil et aidant. L'emplacement est très bien. As a home, this place makes sense. It's got some some beautiful bones (yes I sound old, don't care) and lots of character in a very positive meaning. The hosts/owners are warm welcoming people (the 9.0 rating is because of the hosts imo). As a hostel.... Well I kept thinking: "That's a fire hazard..." And "wow another hole..." If this place was restored the owners could make a killing in Airbnb. It's a great location, I can see the age and history in the home and I love that.

Amazing hostel with a great atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again
