Only stay here if you have no other option! Completely empty for good reason. Nothing welcoming or comfortable about this hostel. Staff insist on a cash deposit for the key, with signs everywhere that they will keep it if you stay one minute after 10a, and it’s $2/cup of coffee. A book was wedged between my bed and the wall which would have readily been found if they re-made the sheets after the last guest. The windows in my room were large and waist high, without any screen, lock, or security...
It is rare that I give a bad rating for accommodation. This hostel was terribly disappointing. The facility is drab and needs a deep clean, fresh coat of paint, new blinds (or fixes) and updates to furniture. The staff was brand new and couldn't provide useful tips for the area. Bare minimum on check in/out. Thankfully, there was no noise after midnight and located around the corner to the spa.

Vor allem der Mann, der dort gearbeitet hat, war sehr unfreundlich... Ich weiß nicht, woher es kommt, aber dadurch hat man sich eher unwohl gefühlt. Es hart durch den Regen in mein Bett rein geregnet. Dadurch wurden meine Bettlaken gewechselt, aber es war viel zu kalt und es hat richtigen Durchzug mit dem Wind... An jeder zweiten Ecke waren Spinnen/-Netze. Dafür wer der Preis wirklich sehr hoch... Schade weil die Lage ech mega ist und man echt was gutes aus dem hostel machen kann...
The cleaning woman was incredibly rude has no respect does not no how to communicate with other people, and was very rude

Really empty hostel. Kitchen and bathroom were a bit dirty and quite dated. Staff weren’t unfriendly but they didn’t try to be helpful. Was told I could not store my luggage after checkout time.
Ein altmodisches Hostel, im Schlafsaal quitschende Metallstockbetten, zum Glück gab es noch ein teures Einzelzimmer. Viele „Work-and-Travel-Dauergäste“, dadurch WG Chaos in der Küche. Absolut keine Empfehlung, trotz der perfekten Lage. Der sympathische, junge Mann an der Rezeption hat die Bewertung hochgezogen.
An altmodisches Hostel, in the Schlafsaal quitschende Metallstockbetten, fortunately there was still an expensive single room. many Work-and-Travel-Durable guests, thereby WG Chaos in the Kitchen. absolutely no recommendation, despite the perfect location. the sympathetic, young man at the reception has chosen the rating hochgen.
Terrible customer service by the owner and he was obnoxiously rude. There’s even a bed bug on my coat the next morning.

Great location in the centre of town... showers were good, bed comfortable... Didn't see any staff during my stay, with the exception of checking in and being told I had 15 mins to check out to avoid extra charges..? AT 8:00 PM All the external doors were locked including the fire exits.... There would have been a panic had a fire broken out?...
Das Hostel ist zentral gelegen und man kann alles fussläufig erreichen. Es ist etwas abgerockt und die Badezimmer sind nicht wirklich sauber, überall Spinnweben etc.
The hostel is centrally located and you can reach everything within a few steps. it is a bit crappy and the bathrooms are not really clean, spider webs everywhere etc
Location was good. Kitchen was big but a touch grimey on some surfaces, similar story in some of the bathrooms. Crumbs on the bed side table when I arrived & what I assume to be ant powder(?) on the skirting boards around the bedroom. Gym nextdoor plays loud music early in the morning. Building itself is interesting but just feels a touch unloved. Good outdoor space with room to hang out washing.

Pretty nice place.
loved my stay here! super friendly atmosphere, across the street from the glow worm caves, and the pool was such a perk! owner is a true delight & introduced me to all the farm animals on the property :)
Sehr nettes und familiäres Hostel, total freundliche Mitarbeiter, super ausgestattete Küche 😀. Habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

We are two travellers who were staying at this hostel for five nights. Ollie was very attentive and gave us a room, which he thought we might feel the most comfortable in (everyone was German!!) which was very nice! He also created a very good atmosphere. It was also very clean, even if the property itself might be a little bit older. I would definitely recommend staying here!

I had a wonderful stay. Very great location and rooms and the staff was very nice (special thanks to Ollie 😊)

We enjoyed our stay there! The location was great, the people are really nice and Ollie made it unforgattable :) Ollie is an amazing manager, he is always there to help and he is very kind and funny. Greetings to Breadybear!
