Desti Youth Park Hostel - Chongqing

Hostel was nice. But why the staff locked the door at 12:30 AM with a huge bike lock from outside is beyond me. The address on Hostelworld does not work on Didi so I needed to go onto another website to find this. Don’t know why as this caused a lot of confusion. Staff helpful and place clean otherwise so no further issues.

Good place, you even get a daily free water. Would stay again when in Chongqing. Got a free upgrade to a 4 person room, but I am pretty sure they have almost only 4 person rooms for this exact purpose

Very neat hostel, not the most social one i’ve been at so far, and not enough toilets for everyone. Other than that it was queit, located near mountain alley and the most important things to see. Also close to the metro station

Nettes, klassisches Hostel. Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal, super Lage im „Mountain Alley“. Bequeme Betten und Handtücher sind dabei. Gemeinschaftsbad voll in Ordnung.

Really enjoyed the hostel! Would def recommend. The location in itself is great as its a walkable distance to all the major touristplaces & inside the cutest alley.

only there for one night; the location on hostelworld ain’t correct, I’d suggest finding the mini program for Desti on WeChat and use their location finder. The rooms were clean and the staff were welcoming. The aesthetic of the reception area was great and relaxing. Only drawback was the cleanliness of the washroom, it stunk. Overall I’d recommend

Great hostel! Very clean and great dorms. Not a lot of foreigners, but that seems to be the case in all Chinese hostels.

Room has enough space, the beds are great. The common area (bar/ relax) is very nice but definitely no atmosphere, no events, no tips to what to do. Also better you know there’s a big stairs before you arrive in the hostel, so if you have a big bag like mine, it will be hard. I think they should add this info in the details to we know before booking.

I had a really good stay! The location is amazing (but amap won't take you to the right place, the easiest is to go to Chagee). Clean and calm dorm, nice social space upstairs. I recommend!

Overall I had an amazing stay here. The staff are so friendly, the lady at the front desk was amazing to chat to and made me feel at home. The beds are super comfy, the facilities are extremely clean and lots of privacy. There’s a cute cat called Dou Dou in the bar/common area, top tip just let him do his own thing. Too many people chase him around and he clearly doesn’t like it, he’ll come to you if you’re chilled! Would highly recommend as it’s great value for money!

Really the best hostel of Chongqing. I also spend some night at Only Cafe & Backpacker, but the atmosphere in this hostel is much more better. The hostel has great bed (soft matrass, light, curtains), is clean and the employees really want to help you.

Modern hostel met mooie faciliteiten, op 6 minuten loopafstand van de metro en hoop eet gelegenheden in de buurt. Vriendelijk personeel die goed engels spreekt
