Hello,I would like to file a complaint regarding your service. We asked multiple times at the restaurant whether the dishes contained peanuts. The first server did not speak English well and told us there were none. Another server came, and in English, confirmed that there were no peanuts. Despite these assurances, my partner ate a small bite and immediately had a severe allergic reaction. We had to go to the hospital, which cost us 4200 Q, and we were unable to sleep at the hostel due to this

The place is pretty, and a nice environment. But overpriced. Room could hear noisy traffic from nearby main road. The hostel want to charge for everything; hiring a towel is $8. A postcard $8. Music in restaurant is hectic and a little too loud. To be truly sociable, a kitchen with simple facilities like a kettle, toaster and fridge would make this much more customer - oriehtated. On the plus side, the grounds are pretty, it felt safe and the rooms are clean, staff are helpful.

Rude bar staff who ignore guests and serve mimosas mostly made of 90% juice. They refused to lower painfully loud music at Selina Bar, even when everyone complained. They don’t mention deals (5 beers for the price of 4) and drinks are small (0,3l) and overpriced. The prices were much more expensive than in other bars. No kitchen, no breakfast, and you even pay for co-working. Loud rooms, poor events, and I found a cockroach in my room. The only good part was the friendly reception staff.

Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience. The staff were extremely unfriendly and we felt completely disrespected during the activities. In addition, it seemed as if the games were not fair; it felt as if they were deliberately rigged so that you could never actually win. All of this meant that we did not enjoy our visit at all. We will not be returning.

DON’T stay here if you have an early morning shuttle. I had a shuttle at 5am, which I was told would be no problem as there would be security available to let me out. All the doors were padlocked when I got up and nobody available to let me out. I had to climb their 3 metre tall walls to get out, injuring my hands and damaging my camera in the process. Absolute nightmare

Not very clean wouldn’t recommend

private room was pleasant, but bathrooms very unclean (blocked drains, bad smells). We were disturbed by rats running in the roof at night. Most disappointing was when we hired kayaks through the hostel, and it became apparent that the local activity provider was receiving less than half money we paid the hostel - this should be made clear that Selina is taking a large cut of the money. General lack of staff interest in helping with Qs eg getting around the lakes, bar opening times, shuttles etc

Hostel claimed to have lost our booking, ended up charging us more than we booked for for a lesser room. The shared bathrooms were always out if something, with toilets and showers backed up. The private cabin was fine, but nothing special. We had problems at every Selina we stayed at. Overpriced. Drinks are expensive. The beach here was gross, and the vibe was dead.

First and last time at a Selina. Super disappointing stay. I only booked here for the pool and it was green, dirty, and not functioning the entire time I was there. They had my reservation wrong in their system and I had to pack and move rooms during my stay. There also wasn’t any towels when I wanted to shower. The front desk was very kind but not very accommodating about all the problems that went wrong here. IDK if this is a Selina thing, but the super loud music all the time was a headache...

Staff tried to rip me off in the restaurant, they were slow and the food wasn’t great. Dirty pool that no one goes in. Far away from Main Street, overpriced shuttles. Fine for a one night stay, but don’t expect too much

Insgesamt ein gutes und sehr schön gestaltetes Hostel. Ein Nachteil ist meiner Meinung nach allerdings, dass die Betten etwas klein sind und teilweise weit entfernt von den Steckdosen stehen. Das dazugehörige Restaurant können wir nur beschränkt empfehlen. Das Essen ist ok, aber eher teuer und von rohem Gemüse würden wir abraten.

Notre séjour était très agréable! Le personnel nous conseillait de bons endroits à visiter et de chouettes activités à faire.

Friendly staff, comfortable bedding, social atmosphere, good location walking distance close to shopping and embarcadero.

Clean hostel with decent sized rooms and comfy beds. Not a super social vibe. The location is a good base to get to other towns around the lake, but not too much to do around the area. Great food options in the hostel and nearby though :))

Great stay! I loved the pool area. The restaurant food and drinks were also really good. Location right next to the dock as well.

Very big hostel that feels very impersonal. Garden with the pool is beautiful!

Overall 10/10, mais le staff pourrait être plus friendly ! On avait toujours l’impression de déranger le staff au bar, à l’accueil on ne nous a pas mentionné qu’il y avait un autre restaurant un peu plus loin à pied et que les activités se déroulaient là. Bref l’endroit est vraiment beau et a beaucoup de potentiomètre, mais ça n’a pas été un highlight dans notre voyage.

MUCHO ruido. Desde las 9am hasta las 10pm la música esta muy fuerte. Pregunté en recepción si había un espacio para relajarse sin música, y me dijeron que todos los espacios tenían música

This place has different categories of accommodation. I used the hostel and was happy with the bed/room. There is a great pool and a restaurant on site. The vibe is lively with numerous activities offered such as hiking, painting, etc. They also own a bar about 5 min away by foot. Downtown can be reached quickly and the lancha (boat) ramps are practically around the corner.

Alright but they play really loud music right outside the dorms!

Really chilled vibe. Perfect for 1-2 nights to get settled in to Lake Life. Receptionists were so helpful booking stuff for me to do during and after my stay.

Je n'ai pas trop aimé, on dirait un gros resort il y a beaucoup trop de monde pour faire des rencontres, de plus il n'y a pas de cuisine ni même de frigo (pas pratique pour partir en rando) et la nourriture est chère. Sinon les chambres sont plutôt bien sauf manque de place pour mettre les affaires si vous avez le lit du haut.
