Kiwi Heritage Homestay

I had such a lovely stay at Kiwi Heritage homestay. From start to finish Tina was helpful and the home itself was very cozy. Next time I'm in Auckland I will definitely stay here.

You will not regret booking this hostel! Feels homey and comfortable and the private rooms are spacious.

Beautiful Art Deco hostel, spotless and stylish. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, well-equipped kitchen, and off-street parking. Perfect location close to the city yet peaceful, with easy access to beaches and national parks. Lovely, welcoming hostess.

Great little homestay. Very good value for money for a private room. Lock on your own door and front door so no security issues. Very clean kitchen and communal area. Tina is very friendly and helpful for answering questions. Not right in the centre of town but has parking which is exactly what I needed and can easily drive anywhere in the city. Won’t find similar places with parking anymore centrally.

This place was lovely! Everything was well-maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere. I also really appreciated how safe and comfortable it felt—perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. The place was very clean and the shared facilities were great. We were delighted to be able to cook a meal or two here. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was super comfy. We had a great night sleep here.

Lovely place. Very tidy with private rooms, very pleasant common area, dining room and kitchen. Bed and linens were high quality, I slept very well. Everything worked, not surprises except how nice the interior is. Bathrooms and showers very good. Cheers

I meet the homestay owner upon arrival and she was super nice. She helped inform me where to park and gave me a tour of the home. The single room I stayed in was clean and felt like a little home away from home.

Super lovely host. Place was just what I needed/wanted as a solo traveler.

Such a lovely place, friendly staff, super clean and tidy. Overall very happy. Only reason I didn’t give the location 5 stars is because there doesn’t seem to be much within walking distance so would need a car/bus/taxi. And the road is a tiny bit noisy in the morning and evenings but otherwise I’d give this accommodation 10 stars! Thanks so much!

Tina and Wallace are wonderful hosts. The house is immaculately clean and welcoming. The views from almost every room (especially the kitchen) make for amazing sunrises and sunsets. The mutual spaces are very homely and relaxation inspiring. Its a great place to do a week of remote work away from home. The house kitten is very pleasant and friendly, makes for a real homestay.. Of note; good mom & pop cafes and takeaway food places that look modest from the outside but are great!

We had a very enjoyable time at this facility. The hostess was very helpful and politr. The place was qiet and very clean. We would stay again if in Auckland

Tina and Wallace want their guests to feel like they are staying at a good friend’s home. They succeed. Like your good friend’s home, their home stay has a well used but well loved and well taken care of patina. We arrived jet lagged and departed refreshed.
