Hostel Korzo

I can’t recommend this hostel. The only positives were the central location and the friendly host. The self check-in didn’t work as described, so I had to call, and the reception hours were inaccurate. The hostel smelled strongly of detergent, and the odor stayed in my clothes. The bed was hard and had no curtain. Kitchen and bathroom were cramped and unclean. Overall, far too expensive for €25.

Cute hostel in a good location ⚠️ But the bed linens and towels aren't changed/washed ‼️ I stayed there several nights and saw the bedding just sprayed with laundry scent. It's a shame actually, the owner is nice.

The hostel is located just above a bar/nightclub, hence it is impossible to sleep before the music stops (2:00AM). The music is extremely loud and resonates in the rooms.

The owner didn't let me in because I was with a Bicycle... I had to go find another hostel.

They need to replace of the white metal bed. There is a pole in the center of the mattress that makes incredibly uncomfortable on your back. The bed is extremely loud even if you move an inch. The other beds were wood in the dorm and asked newer. I have been sleeping in metal bunk beds other times this trip and have had no problem. This bed is unacceptable my back is killing me it needs to go!!

This was not a good hostel experience. After being checked in, the person at reception left and didn’t come back and not a single person who worked there was on the premises throughout the stay. This was a problem because the toilets ran out of toilet paper, the shower was clogged, and none of the individual rooms had locks so it didn’t feel secure without any staff there. There was a small kitchen but no other common space. I wouldn’t stay here again.

the hostel was closed, probably permanently. i got there around 11 p.m., since my check-in was due before midnight, i found the entrance open and went inside. there was no light nor possibilities to turn it on and i had to use my phone to see in the dark, i went upstairs and tried ringing the bell again and nobody answered. i tried to call many times and still no luck. the building looked spectral and abandoned.

It’s not luxury, but the vibe is nice. It feels more like a big apartment turned into a hostel with bunk beds. I met great people during my stay. There are only two bathrooms (men/women), and since the toilets are inside, you can’t use them when someone’s showering. I didn’t really enjoy Rijeka, but I slept well at this hostel.

This hostel has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Do not expect any extra amenities. Furthermore, I do not suggest making a same day booking because there is not a full time receptionist to let you in.

Agréable séjour et un host accueillant

Very fun one night stay. Met some travellers in the hostel. This is a perfect place if you are visiting Rijeka during the carneval. You can watch the parade from the balcony !

Dobry hostel w centrum Triestu. Duże schowki na bagaż pod łóżkiem, przy łóżku możliwość naładowania telefonu. Miły personel. Polecam.

The only bad part was that the smell was really bad in the bathrooms and the main area.

I was in the hostel in the end of October, out of season, so the hostel was almost empty, only me and another traveler, so there wasn’t a lot going on, but I got a chance to rest and have a quiet place to come to after exploring Rijeka which I loved. The owner was really kind and funny and I felt at ease straight away, almost like I was at home. Thanks for a lovely stay, Oni

Świetna lokalizacja w samym centrum miasta. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Przyjazna obsługa i biblioteczka z książkami. Okna wychodzą na deptak więc słychać odgłosy do późnych godzin jednak nie jest to bardzo uciążliwe. Jedyna rzecz która mi się nie podobała to możliwość palenia papierosów w kuchni przy oknie. Generalnie w tej cenie najlepszy wybór i na pewno jeszcze tam wrócę.

Overall nice and easy hostel. The owner is very nice but it does not feel like a hostel in traditional sense. However it is very much set up in a way that you can be as social as you want

Rent 2 rums hostel. Gratis skåp med lås, lakan o handduk ingick. Dock bara 1 herr toalett dusch och 1 damtoalett dusch. Mitt på storgatan, 5min från busstation. Prisvärt o grymt läge.

The location is absolutely perfect for those visiting Rijeka. Perfect experience and I can safely recommend this hostel to anyone!

Posizione ottima e host simpatico e disponibile Nota dolente c'è un solo bagno (uno per donne e uno per uomini)

The receptionist was great and nice guy, had a really nica talk with him

Very cozy and nice hostel. The vibe was so nice and the owners the same. Would definetly go there again :)
