Bohemia Beach Tayrona

Lovely setting but very isolated and restaurant gave me and my friend food poisoning so really dampened the experience. Also no shops nearby so was forced to eat at the restaurant despite this. Staff were nice but service extremely slow!

Mooi en vooral chil hostel. Meerdere ‘digital nomads’ die er voor langere tijd zaten. Verder was het niet erg gezellig. Zwembad ging op dag van aankomst dicht voor 3 weken. Waren ze vergeten te melden en er werd raar gekeken als je hier wat van zei. Voor de rest prima bedden maar als je 1 van de 2 grotere dorms boekt dan heb je niet de beste nachtrust. De yoga lessen worden gegeven in 1 van de 2 dorms in de ochtend en als er 1 iemand loopt schudden alle bedden mee. Geen aanrader

Staff was very friendly and helpful! The hostel itself is beautiful and the place has a lot of potential. However when i was there they were building a new part which caused noise pollution most of the day. It would have been nice to get a notice about the construction beforehand since it was very hard to relax at the pool or at the restaurant with all the noise.

Overall, Bohemia is a pleasant hostel with a prime beachfront location and friendly, welcoming staff. However, there are a few points to notice: - The bar closes early (21:30 on weekdays and 22:00 on weekends, which is way to early) - Only cold water is available in the showers. - Access to the hostel can be somewhat challenging, requiring either a moto taxi or approximately a 45-minute walk from the main road - Wi-Fi is slow and not consistently available throughout the property

Considering the price, I was a bit disappointed. I think the 3000k water charge is a bit excessive. Most hostels provide this for free but the ones that charge, charge approx 500 pesos in my experience. They say it’s a way to eliminate the use of water in plastic bottles, but if this is the case they should rather make it free for anyone who brings their own bottle, to incentivise this… Private rooms seem very nice. Dorms are spacious with big lockers but nothing special considering the pric...

Pool not in use, wouldn’t have booked if had known, is a bit of a walk from anything else, although full not much atmosphere

Generally a very relaxed hostel with nice facilities on the beach. Also there are a couple of water dispensers so you don't have to buy plastic bottles. I booked because of the pool but it was under construction and they didn't give you a cheaper price or any incentive to forget about it. Also, check in took ages because only one of the three receptionists was actually working despite five customers were waiting.

The property is beautify, in a perfect location, and has a lot of potential. The downside is there is no atmosphere, the staff is not very welcoming, and the food was not good. They do not offer many activities or try to get guests involved. Overall it was an okay stay but would not return.

My expectations were quite high since their online marketing is really good. Unfortunately they don't put that effort in being friendly and welcoming to the guests. Also the wifi didn't really work and the food wasn't so tasty. The atmosphere could also be way better. It's actually such a nice location and the hostel looks pretty. So I think they could improve a lot.

Amazing hostel! Beautiful pool and restaurant / overall vibe. We were originally hesitant to go to this hostel given a bit further down the beach but very happy with our choice. You can access the other party hostels by foot but, Bohemia felt cleaner, pool was nicer and generally a more chill vibe (whilst still having young people with a sociable vibe). Antonio was great at bringing people together and hosting activities. Reception were also lovely and attentive

El lugar es muy bonito, pero deberían poner toldillo en todas las camas pues es un lugar selvático y hay demasiados mosquitos, algunos baños estaban descuidados, la comida era muy rica.

Most of the staff are friendly/helpful, but my experience was negatively affected by one receptionist curly hair. She was unprofessional and unwelcoming, ignored greetings, wore headphones, listened to music, and paid no attention to guests despite being the only person at reception! This made simple interactions like checking out or asking for help uncomfortable.Reception staff represent the hostel, and this attitude left a very poor impression. Also the toilets need to be cleaned more frequent

Magnifique établissement ! Volontaires parfaits (Salah et Laura). Beaucoup d’activités proposées et dortoirs géniaux. Petit bémol, le prix pour la restauration…

super hostel bien situé, facile de s'y rendre depuis santa marta et accès à tayrona facilement, le seul defaut est qu'on est très dépendant du restaurant sur place car l'hostel est isolé de la route principale, ce qui fait monté le cout de la facture

Good for chilling and staying by yourself. Or for couples

Beautiful, on the beach. Good food at the restaurant. But no shared kitchen and need to take a mototaxi to reach it.

Es un gran lugar para ir de vacaciones. Es un lugar paradisíaco muy accesible para todos. Lo recomiendo mucho.
