Hostel Argonauta

Tiny hostel with self checkin and checkout, so there is no social interaction with the staff aside of the intro email. There are no courtains on the beds and only small lockers at the entrance but not in the room. I left after 1 night because I was freezing the whole night even though I slept in my jacket. There is 1 tiny electrical heater on one side of the room, however my bed was on the other side and I could not feel a difference when turning it on.

Hotel bien situé dans Obidos mais avec un certain nombre de défauts qui pourraient être résolus avec la présence d'un personnel. Nous n'avons vu personne du séjour qui travaillait dans cette auberge. Le principal problème porte sur le confort : (1) il fait super froid dans l'hôtel et il n'y a pas de chauffage fixe, que 3 petits chauffage d'appoints pour l'ensemble des usagers. (2) Nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude le 2e jour. (3) Cuisine peu propre. Je ne recommande pas.

For one night is fine, beds are noisy and old..very thin ikea mattress..the welcome mail for check in arrived late the same day so i had to knock several times just to leave my backpack..

No facilities at all, coffee not provided until my last day. No access to kitchen so in a town where most things were closed I spent a lot of time hungry. Something in the bedding made me alergic, really cold at night. Hard to sleep. Decorated lovely,had "character" and the location wasnt bad.

Very specific type of hostel, there is no staff and I didn’t get any info how to check in (fortunately another guests helped me :))) It has a vibe, but it’s rather to spend a cheap night in Óbidos than anything else

Lovely property, very quiet when I was there and extremely cold. I couldn't get the propane heater upstairs to work and the fireplace downstairs seemed somewhat unsafe to use (old and rusted), even though I was told I could light it. There was also a small space heater in the room but it hardly gave off any heat. It's a lovely property full of character but if you stay there in the winter months bring extra layers!

Ambiance particuliere car seule dans l'auberge. Les matelas des lits ne se valent pas tous, celui derrière la tenture nest pas du tout confortable. Pour ce qui est de la localisation en revanche cest super pour visiter le village d'Obidos et le système de boîte a clés est tres pratique. petit point negatif pour a cuisine je ne sais pas s'il est permis de l'utiliser mais tout est fait pour nous en dissuader (pas de couverts et vieux materiels)

An absolutely charming hostel in a great location to enjoy the historic old town easily. It’s quite spacious and has a lot of character. The self-check in process was a bit confusing to everyone who came and went during my time there. I feel like it’s nice to have a local on hand but this was unstaffed - it also means you can’t drop your bag off if you arrive early.

O ambiente parece a extensão da nossa casa. Simples porem sconchegante. Boa cama, banho quente, cozinha bem equipada. Disponível café soluvel e chas pro preparo. Apesar do check-in e Check-out serem autosserviço, o suporte foi muito bom e ágil. Excelente lugar pra relaxar e recuperar as energias.

Ein tolles Hostel in idealer Lage un die schöne Stadt Óbidos zu erkunden! Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und individuell und hat viel Charme und Atmosphäre. Der Schlafsaal ist durch seine Größe und die besondere Aufteilung der Betten sehr angenehm. Marcelo hat sich um alle meine Fragen sehr schnell und kompetent per WhatsApp gekümmert. Ein bisschen schade war nur, dass es keine Rezeption oder einen Mitarbeiter vor Ort gibt. Das würde dem Aufenthalt noch ein wenig mehr Hostel-Atmosphäre v...

A very nice hostel in a great central location. The interior design is very tasteful and the dormitory is spacious. The kitchen is cozy and there is a small courtyard. All in all, great accommodation for the price. The only downside is that there is no hostel staff, so you have to check in yourself and there is no one at the hostel. Especially when you are traveling alone and there aren't many people at the hostel (which happens when there are only two rooms), it can be a bit lonely.

Hermoso lugar, bien ubicado y limpio. Los colchones no son del todo cómodos y lo que no entendí es por qué dicen que el desayuno está incluido, no hay tal desayuno.

Auberge incroyable dans une ville incroyable. Arrivée autonome mais très fluide. Décoration top. Dortoir atypique. Chauffage à disposition. Salle de bain avec baignoire. Serviettes fournies. Super emplacement dans le vieux Óbidos.

Amazing and charming hostel in a great location! Staff was so friendly to me. I went during the winter and was the only person staying there for the night, so they made sure to plug in a radiator directly next to my bed. Amazing, beautiful, and clean. Loved my stay here

Locations great, owner is hands off, so make absolutely sure you have the door code before going it should come as an email or text, had another guest not let us in we would have been locked out. Great location, great town

Gorgeous medieval style cottage right under the castle walls

une nuit seulement pour nous, mais tout était ok. propre, douillet, et les gens avec nous respectueux

The best hostel I have stayed in for a long time. Great place, feels like a home where you can explore Óbidos with comfort!

Great place! Not touristy or a dorm feel. A big house with amazing art. It’s a let yourself in place - the owner lives in a nearby time but is always able to be contacted. He’s friendly and helpful with perfect English. The lovely Hosa (Rose) is often around cleaning etc and can help you out too

Localização a 5 minutos das muralhas, casa super arrumada e anfitrião (através de comunicação por WhatsApp) super prestável e simpático. É um alojamento pequeno e rústico o que o torna até mais aconchegante, gostei de ter poucos hóspedes pois assim dá para criar uma maior atmosfera de convívio e segurança. A única coisa que penso que poderia elevar a qualificação seria ter alguns comdimentos básicos como açúcar, vinagre, azeite e vinagre.
