Panama House Bed & Breakfast

Staff kind but overall property was dirty smelly and overall not an enjoyable stay. Property was without water for the full duration of our stay, only one shower that did not have water and toilet would not flush. Owners family members were around , loud and uncomfortable atmosphere. No aircon between 8am-6pm and would forget to turn it on. Mosquitos everywhere, no control over the matter. Others in our room agreed the room was filthy with mould. Would not recommend to stay at this place.

Foto's van prive kamers zijn misleidend, het heet inderdaad wel clamping maar je slaapt dus letterlijk in een tent (met airco) er zaten gaten en schimmel in de tent en het rook er heel vies. Tweede nacht werd ik wakker van iemand die met een hammer op een ijzere trap aan het slaan was on 07:00. Vogels in een (wel grote) kooi die super veel geluid maken. ontbijt is alleen maar wit brood met jam die al weken warm buiten staat. Veel geluid van de straten er om heen. Kort om niet aan te raden.

If you like to hang out with really old and smelly men this is the hostel for you! The room smelled awful and there was a lot of hairs in the beds and they had a lot of stains. The toilet was dirty and we did not even think about showering. The breakfast was toasted bred only and we ordered more (eggs) and it took 35 minutes to cook so we missed our bus. Wouldn’t stay again even if I got paid to do it. Animal ABUSERS as well, they keep a poor parrot locked in a small cage.

Thanks to this hostels negligence, I fell sick as I had to put up with an air conditioning unit blowing freezing cold air onto my face for 2 nights in a row. It's not that hard for a hostel to move a bunk bed out of the way of an air conditioning unit, especially when it has the potential to make people sick.

Es war noch ok - leider ist das Hostel ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und müsste eigentlich mal wieder auf Vordermann gebracht werden. Die Sauberkeit war so lala aber hat schon gepasst. Man könnte das Bad schon mal öfter wischen. Das Frühstück war leider wirklich traurig - Bananen, Kaffee, Toast mit Marmelade. Na ja. Für den Preis ist es gerade noch ok und die Lage ist sicher und gut. Personal war nett.

A short walk to the metro station, filtered water and ice available. Dorm rooms are older than the pictures provided and the one bathroom wasn’t overly clean. Hot showers and a towel and soap was provided. Breakfast was just toast and sometimes fruit.

The staff were SO lovely, incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hostel had AC and the outside area was nice. Unfortunately there were lots of hairs in the beds upon arrival and my towel was dirty which put me off. Also, the wifi didn’t work from the room, only from the top of the stairs. The bathroom was clean and again I LOVED the staff there but a few hygiene issues were my main problems

Really great hostel with a ton of common space. The one issue is that the staff are SUPER loud at night and in the morning and you can hear it clearly - we were only about to get 5 hours of sleep a night because of that

Bon rapport qualité prix pour cette auberge. L’ambiance de l’auberge (je ne parle pas des gens qui s’y trouvaient) était vraiment cool. Un jardin qui fait penser à une mini jungle tropicale avec ses oiseaux, chiens et chats. Le réveil à 5h00 chaque matin est inévitable. La gérante de l’hostel est adorable et très agréable 🙂 Les invités sont eux, assez surprenants. Ils y ont visiblement élu domicile. Chaque soir c’est apéro party pour nos retraités Américains !

The hostel was very nice and the staff were lovely. Enjoyed our stay in the glamping tents. Bonus was cute parrots, dog and cats. If staying in tent just be aware that it is near a busy street so can get noisy. Would’ve also liked if there was more enforcement of quiet areas near the tents, as there was a two loud men laughing and drinking until the early hours of the morning and wouldn’t stop even when people asked him to.

Location was great, next to the mtero stations! An okay place, but you can find nicer once for a similar price.

Friendly staff, close to Metro. A/C worked great, and they have hot water. I found it to be a bit quiet, and it smelled a little of moth balls. There’s a convenient Colombian restaurant across the street that sells beer, and a pricey but great Jamaican restaurant on the corner.

El lugar es atendido por una familia, aparte tienen algunos viajeros trabajando. Es muy relajado todo. La habitación privada tiene aire y toallas. Caja fuerte y cierre con llave. La ubicación está alejada de la parte turística bonita, sin embargo hay varios locales de comida (rápida) cerca. La cocina esta bien equipada. El desayuno esta bien. Recomiendo elegir este lugar si alguien elajar, estar de paso. En ese sentido es un buen precio calidad. Para hacer turismo en Panamá no hubier...

Nice to spot to lounge & relax. Has a pool table (sticks are terrible), ping pong table, & lounge area. Vibe depends on the other guests.

Nice property run by locals. Aircon and hot showers for a good price too. In a safe location too! only complaint was room was a little dusty, but sheets were clean.

Very chilled hostel, you feel at home! As in other big cities it is a bit more anonymous among the travelers but that's obviously not the hostel's fault! Can recommend it if you want to spend a few days in Panama City or even just one night

我住過的 hostel 不算太多，但各方面來說這間算是非常安全的選擇，可以無腦下訂不踩雷。

Cute family owned spot, perfect to relax. Downstairs facilities were great but upstairs bathroom needed more maintenance. Also fridge needed cleaned out bad. Other than that the breakfast was perfect with good coffee, staff was so kind. Also I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the parrots but they are in the biggest outdoor enclosure ive ever seen, and are very well taken care of.

Great hostel. Very close to the metro, nice staff, good beds. Met interesting people in the hostel and Andres gave a tour through Panama

We slept in the Glamping tents - they have AC and are good equipped - just a bit noisy because its right above the comon area. The stuff is really nice and helpful, well equiped kitchen, nice comon area and the atmosphere is quite social. But there are a lot of mosquitos and i really did not like that they have a parrot in a cage. Overalle nice hostel i would recommend.
