Small room..not enough bedding..was cold

Nice and clean hostel. Port Elliot itself is not that interesting though, and don't expect a lot of social contact (except for maybe with the staff/volunteers), but a good place for a relaxing few days. Nice staff, very good facilties, good beds. Would stay again.

Really lovely place to say, a little way out from Victor Harbour. Went during off peak season so came across maybe 1 other resident. The couple looking after the hostel were former owners covering the current owners holiday. They were so lovely & really cared about the place, even helped us hire bikes and plan our day.

Beautiful hostel overlooking the ocean! Super nice staff, clean rooms and lots of space for lounging. There’s even a veggie garden out back! When we were there a big group was also having a birthday party or something so they kind of dominated the common areas, but still we had a great stay and would highly recommend it!

Amazing location, comfy bed, great value for money. Just don't expect a regular hostel vibe as many families stay in this hostel. The only down point, or unluck, was the noise from some children whose guardians, not mindful of other guests, didn't ask them to use their inside voice.

The beach house was amazing, clean with great views, secuirty and kitchen facilites. Close to beach with bbq facility. Highly recommended, ideal family holiday destination.

Ich war in einem 2-Bett-Zimmer für 2 Nächte. Wir hatten keine Schließfächer für unsere Wertsachen, was aber bei 2 Personen auch nicht unbedingt notwendig war. Jedoch wurde in den 2 Tagen nicht in unserem Zimmer gereinigt. Die Toiletten und Duschen waren immer sehr sauber und das Hostel hatte viele Aktivitäten zu bieten. Die Aussicht vom Hostel war atemberaubend und es gab viele Möglichkeiten auf verschiedene Balkons und Terrassen zu kommen.

STUNNING hostel. Balcony views of horseshoe bay which is minutes away. Room and showers spotless. Kitchen clean. Common room lovely with lots of games. Definitely an older clientele so not much of a social vibe but overall amazing. Highly recommend this lovely, safe and relaxing hostel.

The hostel is in awesome location with eateries close by. The manager at Port Elliott was great and even though we had booked a couple of rooms in advance we were able to look at other options when we arrived.
