The Golden Rooster

La ubicación es muy cómoda pero la limpieza es inexistente. La ropa y las sabanas sucias para lavar las dejan en el baño. La cortina ducha caminaba sola de la porquería que tenía. La habitación no tenía llave. Todo muy descuidado. La atención no es buena.

Bed bugs here, I woke up with bites all over my body

room was dirty, unfortunately had bed bugs during my stay, volunteer was nice and tried helping but the owner was nowhere to be found to handle the matter.... not a pleasant stay

One of the worst hostels ever -beds are unstable and keep moving -no lights on the beds -light button for the room is outside the room -lockers are outside the room -not enough utensils in the kitchen -room have windows facing inside the toilet !!!!!! Which they are covered

Zeer sociaal hostel. De mensen die er werken zijn ook heel aardig. Het enige nadeel is dat er geen airco in de kamer aanwezig is, met 38 graden is dit niet te doen. En er is maar 1 badkamer voor de gehele verdieping.

Location is good Not enough common areas, but the one in the entrance (patio) which gets extremely hot Bathroom floors always wet because of the poor design of the showers

If you want somewhere cheap and in the center, this fits that. But you get what you pay for: cheap, dated, bare minimum. I booked a private single and the “mattress” was quite literally a 2 inch foam topper (with questionable stains), there were cobwebs with giant spiders in the top corners, it smelled stale, and the light switch wasn’t even in the room. The bathroom clearly hadn’t been updated or maintained. Honestly, I didn’t even stay the whole night and found different accommodatio...

„Deluxe“ Privates Doppelzimmer passte leider von der Preis-Leistung nicht im Verhältnis! Zudem war es sehr hellhörig, sodass wir trotz Privatem Zimmer sehr wenig Ruhe hatten. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich

Die Lage ist wirklich gut, aber die Zimmer waren wirklich stickig und nicht besonders sauber und auch das Bad war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich wollte nur sehr ungerne dort duschen.

Great staff, great spot.

Couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming hostel. Frank, the owner, is such an awesome guy and took us to see some live Albanian folk music one night, and was so accommodating. Brilliant way to meet people, and so close to everything. Cannot recommend enough, the absolute highlight of our trip. Thank you for everything!

Buena ubicación, seguro, limpio, el dueño super amable. Cerca del centro. Si vuelvo a Tirana sin duda repetiré en este hostel.

Great stay here. The owner and staff were super helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure our time here was comfortable. Amazing location too, just a stones throw from the city centre.

Great location along a major street and easy walk to anywhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful, location is a bit of a trick to find.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed around the world. The location is perfect, super near from the main square, lots of busses to go around. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, bakery and coffee shops near. It’s like a hidden gem in Tirana. A beautiful huge house, super bright with private and shared rooms, the bed is comfy with individual outlet. Clean and great staff

Amazing hostel! Great value for money, very clean and well-maintained facilities, comfortable beds, and lovely common areas. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and makes you feel at home from day one. The atmosphere is relaxed but still social, making it easy to meet people. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again!

The hostel is clean, beautiful and cozy. The owner and the volunteers are great, had some good laughs and enjoyed my time a lot! Will definitely come back again whenever i'm in Tirana.

Visitamos Albania en bicicleta y nos alojamos en el hostel durante las estancias en Tirana. Nos sentimos super bien. El personal en general, y en particular Frank, el dueño, fueron muy amables y atentos. Nos ayudaron mucho. Si volvemos al país, nos alejoramos de nuevo en The Golden Rooster seguro!
