Nothing especial to highlight. An average hostel, correct. The bathrooms are big and separated of the room by an intermediate room where the lockers are. Good if you don’t care about social life in the hostel and you are looking for a good price.

The stay was alright. Friendly and helpful staff, free drinking water and overall clean. There was one private bathroom which was nice. Unfortunately the mattresses were worn out, the bed linen smelled musty and you could tell the age of the bed sheet by its quality.

It was a nice hostel to stay for 1 night! Probably wouldn’t stay here any longer, since there is no social vibe or nice atmosphere at all. Beds were comfortable.

I'd say you get what you pay for, however, in the town you can find better accommodations (with more atmosphere, secured - with lock on the dorm door, and generally way better feeling. I'd add a location to the list. There's not a lot of places around 84 Gallery, but it is close to the historical center of Chiang Mai. The owner is a character, he's really nice and sociable, but the reception is covered by volunteers, that will get better with practice. In general - there are better options.

Todo bien, hostel simple.

Owner is great. Unfortunately had some construction going on while I was there and maybe the sawdust went into the AC. Roommates and I all had sore nostrils from breathing in the room.

All in all the stay was ok. But a big disadvantage is the missing ac in the dorms. It was unbelievably hot and not all provided vents worked properly.

Fairly quiet social atmosphere and not very conveniently located but the staff were awesome at helping me find a place to do laundry and letting me in late at night when I lost my keycard. Also rooms were pretty nice

We just stayed one night because we took a flight from Chiang Mai Airport. Nice and clean Hostel. Just 5 Min ride to the airport. Very nice staff. Would recommend if you want to be close to the airport. The Hostel is not central in Chiang Mai.

Good price quality. 10 minutes walk to the old town gate. Very nice staff!! Thank you for everything!

Perfect for our one night stay before the bus to bangkok. Easy early check out process. Room was clean and beds were comfy.

A very welcoming and friendly hostel to stay at. I've stayed here twice and have loved it every time. The owner Non is an amazing guy and the staff who work there are also lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Chiang Mai!

Nom is a great host! Hostel didn't feel very social but that was likely just due to it no longer being high season, you can meet people in the lobby area for sure. it may not seem like much to have instant coffee, tea, biscuits and all the kitchen essentials but for the price of the hostel it made such a difference! the price of a double bed in a three bed room was amazing! I was confused by the wording and worried I'd get there and be told I'd have to pay double but that was not the case :)

Loved my stay here! It was social but still quiet to sleep. Everyone was so friendly and Mr Non was so kind and helpful! Would definitely stay again

the absolute loveliest hostel with incredibly kind staff and very friendly people. this was the first stop on our backpacking trip and everyone was super helpful and keen to share their recommendations. will absolutely be back next time i am in chiang mai.

LOVE this hostel! Non really takes so much pride in making this place feel like a home! Everybody is so friendly, especially the volunteers! Will come back here every time I am in Chiang Mai for sure:))

had THE BEST time at 84 gallery, such a gem 10/10 would recommend!! so social, homely and accommodating. The owner is so nice and really does everything to make his guests feel at home. If you’re looking for a social, non party hostel that is SO affordable as well, choose this spot

my favourite hostel i have ever been in. not a party hostel but still very social if u feel like it. met so may interesting people there. since its smaller it doesnt feel so anonymous so its easier to connect. it was also super clean! was very sad to leave

Honestly, I've never stayed at a better hostel. The layout makes it soo easy to socialise and the vibe is primarily chill but of course you can find people to go out with at night. Cleaning staff is really precise, beds are comfortable, it's quiet at night. The owner will give you the best recommendations for trips, sight seeing and transport. Non really treats everyone like a friend :) If I come back to Chiang Mai, this is the place! Thank you for this experience

Siamo stati due notti e ci siamo trovati bene,personale gentile,ambiente pulito e carino.I servizi non li abbiamo provati.Nelle vicinanze la sera si trova il Kadmanee market dove mangiare economico e godere dell'atmosfera accogliente e rilassata.Per raggiungere il centro a piedi c'è un po' da camminare 20/25 minuti.Materassi comodi e stanze climatizzate,fuori dal rumore del centro.

Overall very lovely hostel. Hosts are really nice and friendly. Very clean rooms. In a great area close to old town. Quite a chill hostel but also very sociable. Me and my friend ended up extending as we liked it so much. We will back again for sure

Amazing hostel with amazing staff. Beds were comfy and rooms and bathrooms were always clean. Hot shower, free water and a fridge to use!! Loved our stay here, best one in Thailand. Will be back

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were so comfy and felt bigger than other single bunk beds. Other guests in the dorm were very quiet and respectful at night. Non was friendly and welcoming.

10/10. You really can’t argue with this place - insane value for money - for 6 nights I paid like around £30, fantastic. Beds were comfy and had their own privacy curtain. Lockers provided. Toilets and showers were great and cleaned every day. I’d say like like a 15/20 minute walk into the main town - a nice way to stretch your legs and easy walk. Finally shoutout to Non - a lovely human being who always makes you feel welcome and was on hand for anything you required!

Had a great stay, clean beds, bathroom was cleaned every day, really lovely and chatty staff and they were really helpful with any queries or booking tours. It’s a little further out compared to some other hostels but if you’re looking for a calm and welcoming vibe then this is the place! Would definitely stay again!
