Dit hostel geboekt omdat het er zo onwijs mooi uitzag op de foto’s. Helaas dateren deze foto’s volgens mij echt van 10 jaar terug, want het was echt een mega teleurstelling toen ik aankwam. Volledig uitgestorven, geen chillplek bij het zwembad en mega kieren tussen alle deuren in je huisje (waardoor alles en iedereen binnen kan komen) ik ben na een uur weer weggegaan hier.
Unfortunately these photos I think are really from 10 years ago, because it was really a mega disappointment when I arrived. totally extinct, no chill spot by the pool and mega locks between all the doors in your house (where anything and anyone can get in) I'm out of here in an hour.
This place sucked! Do not go here, if you are looking for a social vibe. This hostel is far from everything! The aesthetic is good, (pretty much why i chose it) It looked nice, but it really isn’t! Was bombarded my bugs in the room at one point (I thought it was the plaque!) The bathroom being open did not help! I ended up leaving early! The staff weren’t too friendly either. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist nicht die beste, da etwas außerhalb. Leider war es nicht besonders sauber. Das Bad war wirklich dreckig und Klopapier gab es auch nicht genügend. Straßenhunde umzingeln dich, wenn du dort isst und sie springen sogar auf die Tische. Als dann noch eine Ratte mitten in der Nacht über mein Bett gelaufen ist, war für mich klar, ich reise sofort ab. Also Sachen gepackt und um fünf Uhr morgens weg da. Kann ich leider nicht empfehl...
I liked the swinning pool. The location was far from everything and I didnt like the atmosphere. I would not stay here again. We had a rat!!! on our bed and told this the staff, but they acted like its normal and didnt do anything about it. There were alsoalways many streetdogs in the hostel when we had breakfast ot dinner. Would def prefer to stay in another place...
Just a bit strange
they are building on the facility now, rooms are not completely closed so some small animals get in. i think i am used to more luxurious hostels now cause of bali. i expected better. It was a bit far away and not so busy. but they had free breakfast and a shuttle to a really nice restaurant with some discount and a free cocktail. and they were really helpful.
The staff were animal abusers threw rocks and sticks at street dogs and puppies ( that the guests liked btw) And sprayed them with chemicals if they came near the hostel. Also there were chickens screaming the whole nights and days and AC bearly working so you could not sleep. Nice breakfast. But won’t go back there…
Staff have very bad English and you get the feeling they want to take your money instead of helping you (calling a taxi for example), bathroom was super dirty all the time, rooms are not tight (when it rains you get wet in any case)
Leider sehr enttäuscht von meinem Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren in Häusern, die so offen waren, dass man nachts ständig von krähenden Hähnen, kämpfenden Hunden oder den Mitmenschen aus dem Hostel geweckt wurde, die sich im Aufenthaltsbereich getroffen haben. Das Frühstück war okay aber nicht gut. Außerdem wurde nichts angeboten, um sich etwas kennenzulernen. Für Alleinreisende, die eventuell Probleme haben, direkt auf Leute zuzugehen, wirklich schade.
Unfortunately very disappointed with my stay. the rooms were in houses that were so open that you were constantly woken up at night by barking hens, fighting dogs or fellow hostel people who met in the living area. the breakfast was okay but not good. besides nothing was offered to get to know each other. for solo travelers who may have problems going directly to people, really a shame.
I saw a review from a couple of months ago abour bed bugs but decided to go anyway. Biggest mistake! My whole body is covered in bed bug bites.

Das Hostel war das absolute Highlight!! Es gab 2 Pools und eine total ruhige Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer waren mehr als sauber und es gab zudem viele Angebote für Tagesausflüge. Es gab jeden Morgen leckeres Frühstück und auch eine Auswahl für Lunch& Dinner zum kaufen. Zudem wurde ein kostenloser Shuttle zum nächstgelegenen Beachclub angeboten, wo uns 2 Willkommenscocktails erwartet haben! Sie bieten auch einen Wäscherservice an den ich zu 100% empfehlen kann. The hostel was the absolute highlight!! there were 2 pools and a totally quiet atmosphere. the rooms were more than clean and there were also many offers for day trips. there was a delicious breakfast every morning and also a choice of lunch & dinner to buy. there was also a free shuttle to the nearest beach club where 2 welcome cocktails were waiting for us! they also offer a laundry service which i can 100% recommend. even my bed was made, everything is nice
It was pretty close to the harbor and everything. The staff was so amazing. Kind and so helpful! The restaurant you got to with the shuttle bus was also amazing. Good food, pool and so good spots for amazing photos. I’d definitely recommend Nuansa and live here again!
Such a lovely stay. The staff are amazing and will help you with anything. Everything was kept very clean and the beds and pillows are SO comfy. The only thing I didn’t like about this property is that pretty far away from anything, which is no problem if you can drive a scooter, and if you don’t they will organise a taxi scooter for you which is just a bit more costly than renting a scooter. Overall such a great hostel!
Schönes Hostel, guter Preis für die eher Hotel würdigen Zimmer. Betten top mit Vorhang, Steckdosen und nicht wackelig. Sehr abgelegen und keinerlei Option irgendwas zu kaufen. Kein Restaurant. Das fanden wir doch störender als initial angenommen, da man nicht mal am Pool eine Kaffee trinken kann. Taxi dort hin für 5€ pro 7min Fahrt. Personal teils patzig. Würden retrospektiv nicht nochmal bleiben, obwohl es schön war dort. Vielleicht gibt es ja dort irgendwann ein Restaurant… Sozialle...
Schönes Hostel, good price for the more Hotel-worthy rooms. Bed top with curtains, Sockets and not shaky. Very isolated and no option to buy anything. No Restaurant. We found this more disturbing than originally assumed, as you can't even drink a coffee at the pool. Taxi there for 5€ per 7min ride. Personal teils patzig. Would not stay in retrospect, although it was beautiful there. Maybe there is a restaurant there someday... Soziben okayalle.
Wow, wow, wow. What a place. 10 out of 10 does not give it justice. Everything from the welcome on arrival was perfect.The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The free shuttle takes you to a restaurant with out of this world views, swimming pool and great food. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in many so called 5 star hotels that didn’t match this place. And it’s a hostel (with private room options) and incredible value...
Großartige Unterkunft, Frühstück ist in Ordnung, der Pool ist super, die Betten sind bequem. Ich war im 4-Bett Zimmer.

A very chilled and relaxed vibe at this hostel. The only downside is the location. This wasn't a problem for us as we hired a scooter for the island and one of us is an experienced driver. However, if you don't drive it is a bit out of the way of the port initially. I do believe you can book day trips through the hostel and use a shuttle bus for dinner if you did need an alternative though. The breakfast and welcome drink are a very nice touch and the inside was so clean :)
Very nice hostel, with a nice chill vibe. The receptionist was a bit rude, and the location is pretty far away from everything. However there isn’t really much to do on the island anyway, wouldn’t recommend going there, if you’re seeking activities. It’s a nice place for chilling by the pool, but the restaurants in the area are bad, and it’s very limited what you can do. The breakfast on the hostel is also very bad.
Very clean and nice restaurant
Not backpacker friendly, very excluded at top of a very steep hill with no shops near by- only offers breakfast and road conditions are poor making it difficult to rent scooters and travel to supermarket/ harbour. Also overpriced taxi for a 5min journey. Staff were okay but a bit judgmental and there were very unpleasant damp/ mould smells from outside the rooms. Breakfast was just some fruit and egg served from 7-9.30, overall didn’t really enjoy my stay
The staff was very nice, as well as the atmosphere and the facilities. The problem was that due to the rain my room had big mould stains. You could inhale a very heavy odour of humidity and mould. it eaven had a drip that made the floor very slippery and my romate fell on her ass as she was going for her cupboard. When I let someone know the only solution was air freshener, which was very disappointing. In the middle of the night you could feel tha damp atmosphere and sheets. Very uncomfortable.

El lugar muy lindo, el desayuno super completo, fruta, huevos, café, tostadas. La habitación y las camas muy prolijas. 100% recomendable.
The place is very nice, the breakfast is super complete, fruit, eggs, coffee, toast. the room and the beds are very neat. 100% recommended.
Gorgeous Hostel, pools and rooms were amazing. Free breakfast, and staff were really helpful in organising taxis and stuff as no grab on penida, and it is a way out-10 mins by car and roads are quite bad.

Laid back hostel, spacious dorms and really clean!
Lovely hostel with friendly, helpful staff. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, which was clean & very comfortable. I did have to change to another one due to the shower not having much power, but the staff moved me straight away with no problem. The hostel location wasn’t great for me as I don’t ride a moped, but transport can be arranged through the hostel easy with there drivers & is only 15 min drive from the harbour. The hostel was quite, so nothing on offer in terms of social, but it was low sea...
I had a really enjoyable stay here! Although the hostel is a bit out of the way from the main town and not the most social, it’s honestly hard to fault, and I personally didn’t struggle to meet people. The shuttle to the sister restaurant, Amarta, is super convenient, with great discounted food and drinks for guests. The rooms are lovely, the beds are comfy, the pool areas are really nice, and the free breakfast is a great bonus. The staff were very friendly too.
