I was disappointed with this stay after seeing the 9.2 score. The room was in the roof, was absolutely boiling even at night and although windows were open you couldn’t get fresh air in and the room was very stuffy. Yes there is air con but I was the furthest away from this. My mattress had no support where I was laying and when I got up in the morning I could see that it was so worn there was a massive dip in the middle. Collocato all'interno di un condominio con ascensore, facile da raggiungere, dotata di cucina, reception e lobby. Pagamenti in loco effettuabili solo con PayPal, Revolut oppure contanti. Ho avuto una camera singola con vista porto con bagno condiviso.

Honestly the hostel were very good but I stayed 3 days and 2 of them without any warm water in the shower. An other bad point : the receptionnist had to give me an other bed because an other resident were in my bed when I arrived. I stayed 3 nights and the last night I had the bad surprise to discover than my bed were attributed to a New resident so I had to change bed for the last night... And the wifi is very bad in the bedroom - it Dis connectés every 5 sec, you only have wifi in common plac...

This is an excellent quiet hostel which I would recommended to anyone. Located a short walk from Catania's famous fish market, it is excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and will help with any questions you have about Catania and Sicily

Tutto perfetto ! Ho adorato l'atmosfera del Ostello grazie alla decorazione vintage originale e il personale, senza dimenticare la colazione fatta da loro che facciamo tutti insieme. A proposto della posizione, si trova tra 5 minuti del centro storico e la stazione di autobus, quindi è perfetto ! Grazie per tutto ;-)

UrbanPop is a very cosy hostel with extremely welcoming staff and volunteers who are always friendly and helpful. The place is clean, with all the needed amenities and very close to the city.

Such an awesome stay. Occasionally the staff hosts tours to Etna that are so informative and visually breathtaking! Great breakfasts too and not too far from the city center.

Such a wonderful place, the main reason I would want to go back to Catania. Reza and Salvo are extremely nice and inviting with the guests, the breakfast is a really good bonding experience. The volunteers were very nice people also. This isn't a party hostel and Catania doesn't have that vibe either, but if you like to explore, get to know people and have a very chill time, this hostel is perfect for you.

Salva was a killer host, who was very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast every morning was probably the best I had on the whole trip.

Mostly international guests, very close to the city center. The owner is super friendly.
