Conveniently located in a grand old build that has been tastefully upgraded. Staff were friendly and is kept sparkling clean. Security is good although perhaps a few more non intrusive cameras could be installed.

Tolles Hostel! Die Lage war super, schön ruhig gelegen und in sicherer Umgebung. Hat einen tollen Pool und solides Frühstück. Komme gerne wieder! ☺️

Great customer service and very flexible. They held our luggage as well so we could explore the city even after we officially checked out since our flight was late evening. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels / hostels (I travel for work) and they definitely stood out. Highly recommend, of course.

Sehr schöne moderne Unterkunft! Direkt in Sea Point, also sehr sicher. Man kann joggen an der Promenade , zu Fuß zu verschiedenen Stränden spazieren und die V&A Waterfront ist auch in der Nähe. 2min von der Unterkunft entfernt ist ein Clicks (wie DM) und ein Supermarkt , so wie verschiedene Cafés und Restaurants (auch viele vegane Optionen). Das Frühstück in der Unterkunft ist auch lecker. Die Badezimmer verfügen über eine Regenwalddusche. Alles top!

All in all very good, nice staff, good location, delicious breakfast! Unfortunately there is currently no locker, but you can leave your belongings supervised at the reception!

The hostel has a lot of potential but somehow it did not suit us. Despite the fan it was very hot in the room and my bed smelled like it was rotten . Others were ok. There were only 2 bathrooms (for probably 3 rooms of 8/10 people each). So even if you just want to brush your teeth you have to wait until someone else finishes with the shower. The hostel itself is nice with a large kitchen. No curtains by the beds.

Super nice and fresh hostel, perfect location close to the best supermarket, not far away from to the city center or beach with Uber. The staff was really chill and friendly. Also I loved the pool that has sun form morning to sunset. Not a party hostel, quiet in the evening but nice that you can bring your own alcohol. Not to mention the kitchen was awesome! Was supposed to stay for 3 nights extended until 16 😅. Thank you so much for a great stay.

No AC in an 8 bed dorm means the rooms get really hot, which meant that everybody wanted to sleep with the door open, which isn't ideal for safety. There was also no hot water when I showered. They described it as a hostel with a hint of luxury but it didn't feel like that to me! The staff however were really nice and friendly.

Wir waren in der Nebensession da, weshalb das Hostel recht leer war. Es war aber sehr sauber und die Menschen waren alle nett.

Absolutely exquisite pristine. Clean modern chic style black and white, fresh soft linen, USB + plug power for devices. Kitchen is best l've ever used in my 3 years as a booking app genius level 3 user. Modern vintage appliances and gas cooker with free coffee tea and sugar! Best in Cape Town and very friendly helpful staff! Highly recommended to any one who sure to be hearing about WUNDERLUX IN SEA POINT! Thanks guys great job, you are all wonderful and professional.
