Not safe at all, can’t lock your door, don’t have any locker as well, dirty and old bedrooms / bathrooms and smelly. Food is alright but you must except to wait for a while and that the staff forget your order. They ask costumers to give 5 star experience on google to get free drinks so it show you how professional this hostel is … Also, the staff is not competent and inefficient, they made our bed randomly, took our stuff away, and allowed other backpackers to come in and take our bed...
The staff was nice, but spent one day of my Kampot trip in the hospital after I drank water from the water dispenser, which smelled bad, had particles in it and wasn’t clear (I didn’t notice at first because I didn’t check, since it came from a dispenser so I didn’t expect anything bad). They served bread to a friend of mine with mold on it, the bathroom had no light and for one day also no new toilet paper. The floor in the locker was also dirty. Only the bed was really clean and comfy.
Stay at Onederz instead. A few of us ended up switching over after we extended our stay in Kampot. The facilities weren’t the cleanest, especially the en-suite bathrooms in the non-container dorms. And since the location in a 25 min walk out of town, you either need to tuktuk or rent a scooter to get back and forth. Many people end up staying on the property for every meal instead of venturing out. The staff were nice but we couldn’t understand why the property rating is so high
Weird vibe. You’ll probably love it here if you like weed. Feels like there’s no guest, just staff. Location was very off so if you don’t ride a bike you have to get a grab everywhere. Bed was amazing tho, you got TWO big pillows.
This one was dissapointing for me. Pro's: Staff was helpfull, rooftop bar has potential. Con's: Majority 40+ year olds, kind of a stoner vibe (everyone was smoking weed), staff wasnt really friendly, laundry was expensove but not much efford was put into it, washed everything again somewhere else because it was still dirty. Would not reccomend
schönes hostel, aber unfreundliches und unmotiviertes Personal
I found a used condom in my pod while sleeping. Reception mocked me, saying, “You’re only here one more night; do you really need it cleaned?” They “cleaned” it, but the condom was still there. The location is far from the city—you need a scooter, tuk-tuk, or a 40-minute walk. I asked for the train schedule to Phnom Penh, and the receptionist pretended to call, gave me the wrong time, and later said, “That’s not my job.” Unhelpful staff, terrible hygiene and not very social. Hostel was below avg. Given it’s the same price as a different hostel with MUCH better facilities I moved half way through my time in Kampot. The beds were fine with privacy etc but in the morning and at night you can hear all the noise of the staff opening and closing up the bar upstairs. (Like loud banging thuds). I also really found the lady at reception to be just incredibly unpleasant. En-suite bathroom is shower/toilet wet room which k try to avoid where possible so which they had photos...
My bed was full of ants. The staff gave me another bed which also had ants but they gave me a bug spray which actually helped. After my stay I found a lot of ants in my backpack.. and NO I didn’t have any food or drinks in it. But other than that, the rooftop is nice.
I don't normally leave negative feedback unless is necessary, I stayed at one of container dorm outside.dorm smelled moldy, was mold All over the bathroom ceiling and walls

I was only there for one night so my opinion is maybe not the most reliable. I wasn’t a fan of the location because its pretty far to the town but you can totally rent a scooter and then its alright, the beds were kinda hot to sleep in and for me the vibes werent the greatest but also not like bad. What I have to say the rooftop bar/restaurant is GREAT, like great food and nice view!!
really nice hostel with really nice staff! paul gave us recommendations for our next place! we stayed in a private room and dorm, both were quite nice, the bathroom in the dorm wasn’t as modern or clean but works fine! location is slightly out of the way but grab is available and tuktuks usually are sat outside, we never had to wait more than 3 minutes to get a tuk tuk!
Fun, chill hostel. Great roof top. The guys running it were very helpful. The jungle dorms need a little tlc (doors don't lock, bugs in the bathroom) beds and pillows were clean and comfy. though. Bathroom could be cleaner.
As advertised amazing chilled but social vibe which is what you buy into
One of my favourite hostels in nearly 5 months of south east Asia! The staff were wonderful, the events held were super fun and the overall atmosphere was one that really felt like a community I didn’t want to part from! The rooms themselves were clean with large beds and large storage area under the bed too so everything felt secure. The rooftop bar/restaursnt was als very nice and boring scooters from the hostel was cheap and easy. A must stay when in Kampot!
such a great hostel! social, chill and affordable! privacy is great and the staff remember everyone's name
The best hostel atmosphere we’ve ever experinaced. Great staff, great volunteers, activities you actually want to get involved with & great food. Little far away from Kampot centre but with a bike it’s no problem, tuktuks outside all day for taxis. We loved it there so much we extended and are coming back after the islands. You’ll send most your time round the pool bar or on the roof socialising til closing time!
Amazing hostel with brilliant people around and an excellent atmosphere.
Staff are all amazing, the hostel is very clean and super social. 10/10 hostel
lovely place to stay. the vibe is really nice. the capsule dorms are really cool but just about everyone knows the code to the door. multiple staff yelling matches were heard (dunno what about) and on another occasion the owner (i assume) came and had a very loud & unprofessional word with some staff while me and a few others sat nearby. otherwise a good stay & good food.

Nice hostel, friendly staff, nice social activities. Did get food poisoning (bread) there but the staff was very nice and helpful. Ate there again which was fine. Stayed in a privateroom which has everything you need. Bit outside of the city centre, but in a nice and quite area.
By far my favourite hostel in Cambodia maybe even in south east Asia. Such a chill and social vibe especially on the day that have live music on. The staff are lovely and really get you up and dancing !! Plus, the pool is a bonus when you just want to chill
Good hostel with a super nice staff ! The location is not ideal though if you want to discover the city center and don’t bike.

Staff are so friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. It is a little out of town but I walked it everyday and it was fine.
Such an epic hostel — met some amazing people there and really felt a sense of community. Staff are so cool and welcoming as well. Perfect balance of social without explicitly being a party hostel, you can if you want to but don’t have to! Would love to stay here again if back in Kampot
Really social hostel with great events and comfy beds. The staff/volunteers mix really well with the guests
Really nice hostel to stay in Kampot, not directly in the city but if you’re motorised it’s very close ! Lots of events organised, which help for meeting new people. Cleanliness of the dorm and the bathroom could be improved but other than that we loved staying there !!
Très chouette hostel avec une bonne ambiance et personnel gentil, location de vélo/scooter possible. Un peu reculé donc pas de restau/cafe aux alentours + on a eu des douches avec une odeur noséabonde…
