Heaps of people with little room to get dinner/breakfast and clean dishes. Sick people everywhere coughing all around. Bed smelled awful like someone's foul body odour. Bathrooms were kind of nasty from the other people not cleaning up, but could have been nice. Staff are nice I think! My only option was to stay here since they have a good place to work on a laptop + charge it up. But because I booked same-day, it was over 100AUD for one night. I should have just taken a cheaper hostel.

had a really bad experience with the guy in the bottom bunk doing inappropriate things for hours on end and it was loud and as a girl i felt really uncomfortable. There was no staff at the desk to talk to them about it. Despite having a current police check, prescriptions for all my medications and even multiple QPS personal character references, I was treated like a criminal in my own country. Plenty of nicer hostels nearby for the same price! Also far too many rude French people smoking evil illicit cannabis!

Was not secure in the slightest - like anyone from the street could just walk in. If you’re on the ground floor, there is a constant sound of running water from above.

Ich verstehe die ganzen positiven Bewertungen nicht. Es sieht alles sehr runtergekommen und ungepflegt aus. Es sind auch keine Pods sondern eher Betten mit Vorhängen. Das Personal ist leider auch nicht das freundlichste. Ich bin eine Nacht vorher abgereist!

Nog nooit in zo’n groot hostel geweest en weet zeker dat ik dit nooit weer zal doen. Er zijn 3 grote zalen met meer dan 100 bedden. Erg donker en de enige herkenningspunten waar je bed staat zijn de grote bakken met oude stinkende schoenen omdat je die nergens anders mag neerleggen. Geboekt voor 2 verwacht je ook dat je bij elkaar ligt maar dit was niet zo. Ondanks dat er nog plek was om in hetzelfde stapelbed te liggen mocht dit niet van het personeel. it was horrible. i couldn't even stay here 1 night. my bed was located very close to the door, everyone who got in (remember - 102 person dorm) had too type in a code which made beeping noises and then the door slammed super loud, wouldn't have slept an hour if i stayed here.

Good Hostel, very busy and crowded at times. Also depending where you are can be dimly lit. The staff were great.

The beat hostel in gold coast, good breakfast and diner, all clean and the best think is the activities with Carol

Carol was amazing, she hosted some fun night activities. Having dinner cooked for us was amazing the rooms were clean and bathrooms were really nice. Overall would 100% recommend

Carol made the all experience so much more enjoyable, love her activity and her energy like no other! Breakfast food is really good, while dinner could be a little more as not always enough, bed are comfortable and very quiet. Thank you!

We had a great time staying there! Very chill people and lovely staff!! Pati was a great help with everything!

Great location, close to everything in Surfers Paradise. The 102 bed dorm was pretty quiet and the pod is very private. Reception staff is friendly. There were not enough showers for everyone. The free breakfast and dinner are a big plus.

Very nice hostel! The breakfast and the dinner everyday is a big plus if you don’t want to cook everyday :) Also , the staff was very nice, Pati was so sweet and very welcoming! The beds gave a lot of privacy and the bathroom were most of the time very clean.

Muy buena estadía, lo recomiendo 100% se conoce mucha gente que te ayuda a como partir en el país. Tambien el staff como Carol es muy organizado con las actividades para fluir con los demas…

Friendly environment, clean, and organised with the meal!

It was very loud even after 9pm and in the mornings and the stuff does nothing about it. The kitchen is really dirty and there are not enough pot and pans for this many people.

The staff told me every day that they were going to solve my problems they didn't solve it I stayed long enough yet for something that would surely have taken 5 minutes to solve instead of lying. The showers are dirty. The value for money is still good thanks to meals and lunches.

Great hostel! Does not feel like you’re in a room with 130 people at all. The layout is organized well so it’s not too loud and you have lot of privacy with the curtains and the sides of the bunks walled in. Some of the cleanest hostel bathrooms I’ve ever stayed in and breakfast and dinner is a nice touch too!

Place itself is clean and well-kept for the most part. Not nearly enough space for this many people though. People staying here are very cliquey & blasting club music at all hours in common areas so not much atmosphere. Bed itself is good but people talk at all hours and staff don’t do anything about it because they’re friends with those who do it, so sleep is really poor. Breakfast is nice, dinner is very small portions. No security at all during the day, anyone could come in.
