Hotel Casa Blanca

- Die Unterkunft sieht keinesfalls so aus wie auf den Bildern bei Booking dargestellt! Die Zweibettzimmer sind extrem heruntergekommen, es konnte vereinzelt Schimmel an den Wänden festgestellt werden. Die Betten waren durchgelegen und die Türen hatten Spaltmaße, durch die man seine Finger stecken konnte. Weiterhin konnte man die Badezimmertür nur mit erheblichem Kraftaufwand öffnen, da sie auf dem Boden hing. Während des Duschens flutete man das Badezimmer, da das Wasser nicht richtig abfließen konnte. Weiterhin war die Duschtrennwand undicht. Entsprechend konnte man schon Schimmel an den Badezimmerwänden feststellen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes fiel immer wieder der Strom aus. Angeblich wegen einer Baustelle, diese konnten wir jedoch nicht im feststellen. Die Mängel haben wir bei dem Hotelpersonal vorgetragen. Das Hotel wird augenscheinlich israelisch geführt, da sich kurze Zeit später ein „Israel“ bei uns meldete und uns zwei Gläser Wein anbot, für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Nachdem dies abgelehnt wurde, versuchte er uns mit umgerechnet 5€ Nachlass zu beschwichtigen . Dies wurde ebenfalls abgelehnt, da die Mängel zu drastisch waren. Eine weitere Einigung auf finanzieller Basis wurde nicht erzielt, da sich der „Israel“ nicht mehr meldete. Eine Einigung über das Hilfe- und Beschwerdeportal bei Booking.com verlief negativ. Ich kann das Hotel absolut NICHT empfehlen!!!!

- Pésimo servicio al cliente, dijeron que aceptaban tarjeta y al llegar no aceptaban y luego dijeron que sí pero con 10% de comisión. No importa se pagó porque al final ya estábamos ahí, no tenían la habitación que yo había reservado, no dan el control del aire acondicionado, no llega mucha agua a la habitación, no ofrecen servicio de limpieza a las habitaciones, el restaurante estaba cerrado por una tradición judía cosa que pudieron haber informado antes. La habitación no posee un mueble todo debe estar en el piso lo cual es incómodo. Tras de todo se fue la luz en la noche. Las camas duras, sábanas manchadas.

- If I could give this place 0 stars I would as it’s a scam. There’s a reason why every review says the place is cash only - yet when you book online it says you can pay by card. However we arrive and are told “their machines are down”. This place is bullshit. The staff is rude, uninterested and have no idea how to operate a hotel. We arrived and were told they didn’t see our booking although we had confirmation through booking.com. After wasting 2 hours talking to useless staff, they shoved us in an unfinished room with no ventilation. After a few hours the entire room, especially the bathroom smelt like sewage. There’s a window in the bathroom wall with no glass so the smell of garbage and sewage infiltrates the space like nothing I’ve ever smelt before. We did not sleep all night. There were no staff working to help us and management is off on Saturdays therefore there was nothing that could be done for us. A big issue, with 0 support to fix it. Not to mention the stains all over the bed sheets and the bed frame that was falling apart. This place is dirty and unkept. We had to fight with the staff for 2 days to finally get put into a new room. Sadly we weren’t the only ones experiencing these issues at the time. This place is run by Israelis and it’s apparent that if you aren’t Jewish you’re getting the short end of the stick. They don’t care about their customers because this isn’t a real hotel. It’s a facade. The manager will bride you with a free drink to cover up the fact that this place isn’t fit to be operating. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and if you support Palestine - don’t bother stepping foot into San Pedro period.

- - 3 nuits passées dans cet hotel = 4 jours avec des travaux dans l'hotel de 10h à 18h - impossible de rester dans la chambre ou aller sur la terrasse de l'hotel - bruit de percussion insupportable - 3 nuits passée dans cet hotel = aucun passage des équipes de l'hotel pour nettoyer la chambre, ni nous donner de nouvelles bouteilles d'eau - aucun équipement dans la chambre (pas de table, pas de chevet, pas de support pour papier toilette, pas de meuble dans la salle de bain --> deux lits, une douche, un toilette....... rien de plus, ca fait cher "l'hotel" - salle de bain insalubre, évier inutilisable, rien pour poser ses affaires malgré la taille de la salle de bain - piscine dans un état lamentable, impossible de s'y baigner - 6 pauvres transats en piteux état au bord de la piscine - concrètement, hotel à fuir

- Chambre non aérée, puces de lit et lits sales dans une chambre, nous avons du exiger d’être changé de chambre. Moisissure dans les salles de bains et rideaux, pas de personnel à la réception pour aux questions.

- I booked 3 rooms Beds were very uncomfortable, one of the bedrooms door didnt open properly, we asked staff to fix it but they never showed up

- La habitación 14 tiene una muy mala ubicación por que está a orilla de calle y se escucha mucho ruido TODA la noche, aparte están remodelando el hotel y desde temprano los trabajadores de construcción hacían mucho ruido con maquinaria.

- I had a terrible experience at Casa Blanca in San Pedro. I was tricked into staying in a “new” room that was clearly not ready to be used. The room smelled strongly of fresh paint, there was construction everywhere and the surrounding rooms were still raw concrete. There was no mirror, no place to hang a towel, no table and no internet. They even left construction materials and other items outside and partially inside my room (see pictures). I paid for a triple-bed room but was placed in a double. I didn’t complain at first, but once I realized what was happening, I was understandably angry. After completely ruining my mood, they refunded me for the first night and moved me to another triple room. Unfortunately, this room was even worse and very outdated. The bathroom had a window directly into the kitchen, so you could hear the staff constantly and the only internet signal came from the reception area. The manager was nowhere to be found while I was dealing with these issues. I genuinely felt bad for the staff because they were kind and did their best, but that doesn’t make up for the experience. Please, save your money and don’t believe the pictures.

- El agua en la piscina se veía un poquito pesada, se recomienda más limpieza en la piscina

+ Me hospedé en Casa Blanca en San Pedro La Laguna y en general fue una muy buena experiencia. El hotel es muy lindo, las instalaciones están súper bien cuidadas y todo se mantiene limpio, lo cual se agradece mucho. Además, el staff es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. La comida también es excelente, definitivamente vale la pena probarla durante la estancia.

- el hotel no acepta pagos con tarjeta, por lo que tanto la reservación como el pago se hacen en efectivo. No es algo negativo en sí, pero sí es importante ir preparado para evitar inconvenientes.

+ I loved how close was everything to the boats and the restaurant they had in the hotel was amazingly delicious 😋 I also loved the fact that they accommodate me when I mention to them is our anniversary and they had a wine in the room for me so I def appreciate it that they went out of there way to make it feel special 😌😊

- The only thing I didn’t like is the spiders in the room I loved to open the window but I was scared for the spiders to get in

+ The location was the best part for sure. The patio space was nice to hang out with a view. Having a ceiling fan was nice and the best was actually comfortable.

- The room did not match any picture on this site at all. I booked what claimed to be a lake view and we got one window that looked at a wall. The bathroom was beyond gross. Mold everywhere with no stand for the shower head - just handheld. Water flooded everywhere within a couple of seconds of the shower being on. It was incredibly loud here. Not bc it’s a busy town (I knew that!) but bc there is no closing window from the bathroom that is on the street to the bed. The hole in the wall is completely open with another open window above the bathroom door to the bedroom. I’m an easy going budget traveler and do not throw a fit over a bad room but none of these things were shown in the listing or photos. Every other room looked quite nice! Looking into some of the open doors of other rooms they did look like the photos but I guess some rooms do not. Despite the bed being comfortable sheets were kinda stained and yellow. The ceiling light would never turn on and it wasn’t an electricity issue bc our phones would be charging and the bathroom light was on. The pool despite being only a couple years old is destroyed and water looks cloudy. We did not attempt to enter.

+ Me encantó de este lugar la ubicación, es un lugar bonito. Tiene una vista completa al lago Atitlan, tiene cerca tiendas y el muelle. El personal es muy amable y las habitaciones cómodas. En mi caso viajaba sola y caminar cerca de este lugar se sentia seguro.

- Debido a que está cerca tiendas y Lugares durante el dia puede ser algo ruidoso. En la habitacion faltaba un espacio para poder unidad tu maleta y equipaje (me tocó dejar todosobre la cama porqu no había ningún otro espacio). También sería bueno que recibieran pagos con tarjeta.

+ L'emplacement de l'hôtel est top, la chambre était bien spacieuse, nous avions notre salle de bain privée. Superbe vue sur le lac et terrasse très agréable.

- La propreté laisse à désirer (cheveux par terre et tâches sur les draps). Nous avons été déçu par le personnel qu'on a l'air de déranger. Quand nous avons demandé pour changer la poubelle qui se remplissait (nous restions 4 jours), apparemment cela n'était pas possible. Aussi, l'hôtel est en travaux et ils travaillaient juste au dessus de notre chambre, donc le bruit n'était pas du tout agréable de midi à 16h...
