Los Amigos Nest Hostel

False advertising and poor management. I got a tiny room by the kitchen with a broken door and cheap pillows. They rented it despite knowing it was broken. After cycling 60 km, there was no hot water. Their "solution" was a 12-person crowded room with triple bunks. The worst part: I woke up with my arm covered in bedbug bites. They use a "Pachamama" vibe to hide overcrowding and a total lack of hygiene. Avoid this place at all costs!

Stayed in Room 10. The room was nicely furnished and bathrooms clean, but I found signs of BEDBUGS, which made my stay very uncomfortable. The location is okay, with an hourly bus to Los Cristianos. Staff were friendly, but the bedbug issue is serious. Would not recommend until resolved.

It's hard to summarize the horrible experience. There are bedbugs, there were more infections every day, and you could see them on the walls. They said they didn't know what to tell us. There were cats on the kitchen tables, in the beds, and everything was covered in hair! It was anything but a vacation. We left before our week was over because it was impossible! We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and had a horrible experience. After the first night, we woke up covered in bites but didn’t immediately think they were bed bugs. It wasn’t until the last night that we saw the real issue. In the middle of the night, I spotted a bed bug on my pillow right beside my head, and when I looked around, I found dead ones on the walls—clearly from the whole weekend. Shackle put together from sticks and stones, no isolation literally, no blankets , stuff is useless for any requests

Located remotely, just a place to crash and leave. I didn't feel very engaged. Would not stay again.

Smells like weed 24/7, very difficult to make something in the kitchen as was always too busy, fridges were stuffed full and not cold. Cats roaming around in the beds and I woke up with bites all over my body. Showers just warm enough but not hot. Seemed weird like a lot of people live there. Would never stay again.

honestly im surprised this hostel is rated so highly. wifi didnt work, kitchen was very small and cramped and closed at 10pm. rooms were cramped too and there were very limited charging ports. in addition, whilst the beds came with small lights, these did not work either. there seemed to be no security either- anyone could walk in, none of the rooms had locks, and the storage did not come with locks either unless you purchased one. finally, the location is inconvenient, unless you have a car

I unfortunately had a terrible stay in the hostel due to a bed bug, I had burning pains and insane itching all over my body and the blisters and bites made me look horrible. After a short stay at Hospital therefore i desided to cut my vacation short prematurely. I was paid money by the hostel, but that didn't cover my expenses. Otherwise it was actually a nice hostel with a pleasant atmosphere

One of the worst hostels i have stayed.The only good about it,is that its really clean.Location:in the middle of nowhere,everything was far and you need 2 buses(1:30 hours) to get to capital or 1 bus(50 mins) to get to touristic party area,supermarket was 20 mins away and closest city was 1h far.Staff:they were friendly and kind,but thats all.They were not helpful and when i asked for info,they told to ask other travellers..Dead vibes,too many adult people and rules,like after 10 you must sleep.

Génial ! Juste attention à ne pas arriver trop tard à l’aéroport sinon vous n’aurez pas de bus et devrez payer un taxi très cher pour une courte distance mais c’est génial car nous avons pu Checkin sans problème malgré notre arrivée très tardive Le lieu est magnifique et cosy, les douches et les espaces communs sont super ! Je recommande à 100%

This hostel was ok for one night. I didn’t get much sleep at all due to being right by the door and could hear everyone outside and in the room next to me, automatic outside light on and off constantly. The light by my bed did not work. You need your own padlock for the lockers. The bedroom didn’t feel very clean and bed linen very worn. Bathrooms ok. It rained and leaked into the room (safari). I was supposed to stay here another night but found something else to ensure I get some sleep!

Had a great stay at this hostel. But unfortunately we went during a very rainy weekend and lots of rain leaked into our Safari tent. So keep an eye out on the weather!! Other than that this hostel had lots of activities offered and the people that stayed with us were very friendly! Keep in mind the location is ideal if you want to stay by the airport, but it’s a bit out of the way from other sites on the island. But this hostel is worth the money.

Schöne Anlage und gut organisiert aber abgelegen. Fahrt zum Flughafen in der Nacht hat 21€ gekostet. Super hellhörig. Ich hatte ein privates Doppelzimmer das hat etwas Privatsphäre geschafft. Mitarbeiter waren super nett 🫶🏽Kontakt hat auch gut geklappt. Danke dafür 🙏🏽 für eine Nacht war es ok.

Only stayed for one night because it was right near the airport so it was convenient. However, I wish we had stayed longer. It was such a cute property, very chill, and they had a cool fire show at night. Everyone was super friendly. Definitely a hippie vibe. Definitely not close to the town but perfect if you just want a chill beach trip. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

This hostel is pretty well maintained and kept clean. Staff seemed helpful too. My only issue is the creaky and poor quality metal bunk beds. They really shake getting on and off the top bunk. Not great for a good night's sleep.

Super sweet and cozy hostel, very chill and laid back crowd. Great hostel if you have a car, otherwise you need to plan a lot of time to go from A to B. Someone organized a bonfire almost every night.

Got bed bug bites while staying here. The location isn’t the best as it is pretty far from the main areas. There are busses but they are infrequent and are often late. The bunk beds are shaky when people get off the top bunk. The staff are wonderful. Free coffee is also a plus.

El personal es majisismo. Ambiente inmejorable. Las camas son cómodas y las instalaciones estan super limpias. El hostel en general está híper limpio.

Nice place close to the airport. Very easy check in/out, though i couldn’t get in contact with them prior by mail or phone.

Auberge très cool proche des piscines naturelles, à 15 min de l’aéroport en voiture, logement propre, cuisine restreinte mais bien équipée

Das Hostel ist top, wenn man etwas abseits vom Touristentrubel sein möchte. Das einzige was uns gewundert hat, war, dass die Eingangstüre 24/7 ohne Zugangscode offen ist und die Zimmer zusätzlich auch nicht verschlossen sind, wodurch theoretisch jeder zu jeder Zeit ins Hostel kommen könnte.

Lovely time with my partner in one of the private rooms! Welcoming atmosphere and a short walk from the beach.

Best hostel on Tenerife! It‘s cozy and invites to meet new people (really good for solo travelers), activities can be booked at the hostel too, it’s clean because the staff cleans the common areas like every 3h. It was so chill and beautiful. Only thing: there was no AC in my room, so that could be a problem in summer but for January/February it was totally fine!

Posto incredibile. Tutti molto gentili, Area all'esterno bellissima e che ti costringe a fare amicizia con tutti. Mai visto un Ostello piu pulito di questo. Bello anche il calendario all'entrata con tutte le attività che si possono fare.
