El Hostal del Cubo

The owner was super nice and friendly. Aside from that the hostel was quite anonymous and had a cold vibe. There were no curtains, nights stands or night lights and only one bathroom with the toilet inside. It was a small hostel so the bathroom situation worked but I think the rooms could need some love. When you travel in a group I would still very much recommend it, as you can easily drive to places from there and if you kniow people you can talk to them.

Cute, very tiny hostel that lacks a bit of atmosphere. It's situated in a very small village that is kind of dead. The mini market opens for 2 hours. There are buses but it's better to have a car. If you want quiet and solitude it's the right place to go.

El personal era bastante simpatico pero el lugar el lugar estaba bastante aislado sin ninguna proposicion de actividad ni adentro ni en los alrededores. Es buena opcion para los que quieren descansar en paz y silencio completo pero ten en cuenta que va a ser dificil encontrar comida en los alrededores también !

I enjoyed overall our stay, the people, the owners are very kind in this hostel 🙏 There isn't much of a vibe but it's calm and relatively clean, although the suite was quite damp and the room's floor could have used a mop-cleaning. A car is a must to get around.

Lieu agréable mais très bruyant car en bord de route, qui plus est, emprunté jusqu'à très tard et très tôt le matin (aucun double vitrage). Aussi, les personnes présentes étaient très bruyantes et ne se préoccupait pas des autres résidents ce qui en a ajouté au calme de ces 'nuits 😅. Hormis cela c'était sympa.

very good hostel for visiting the area. I found few clients so no personnel was needed. quiet and o the bus route.. might be difficult by night to walk from some bus station on the main road so check well that if you arrive by bus in the evening

Really beautifully decorated and well kept hostel. In a small town but with wonderful views of the sea and plantations and Teide too. The hostel itself is quite small, but fab kitchen facilities, and great toilets, not overly social but that's okay , v peaceful. helpful staff on WhatsApp !

Beautiful hostel with the most amazing host, Montse! I don’t speak any Spanish, but we were able to communicate easily together, and she helped me with so many different things that I needed upon my arrival and helps me even get to my next destination. Très bel hostel, bien situé dans ce village sublime . Lieu bien entretenue, petit mais chaleureux, malheureusement nuit horrible à cause de 2 personnes ronflant plus fort que des moteurs de camion (évidement l’hostel n’est pas fautif)

Loved staying at El Hostal del Cubo, it's in such a beautiful little town. Only gripe would be that it's directly next to the road so the cars can be loud, but otherwise it's great! Super friendly and attentive staff, very accommodating!

Habitación muy cómoda con vistas al mar. Cogimos la triple con cocina, bien equipada y con todo lo básico (aceite, sal, café…). La responsable con la que estuvimos en contacto fue súper agradable y muy atenta, nos ayudó con varias cosas durante la estancia. 100% recomendable.

A really small and cute hostel, the staff is incredibly kind, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and there were curtains. Also, many bus stops are near. Because it is so small, I couldn’t really socialize but I still met some nice people. Would always recommend!
