La siesta India Mcleodganj

Dirty bedsheets, empty and lonley atmosphere. It has a really good location in Bhagsu and the staff is nice. They played the same 30s song on a loop for over 40 minutes.

Basic accommodation but I guess for the price it’s fine. Beds don’t have a headboard so hard to sit up and chill. The mixed dorm is on the ground floor right outside of the common area where they play loud music so if you’re looking for somewhere chill this isn’t the place for you. Staff were not very helpful when i wanted to leave bags in a locker even when i booked an overnight tour through them.

The location is ok, close to places but no views. The dorm is alright, not very clean but for the price it's pretty decent.

Not the best views. Location is in congested area. But is near to waterfall and bhagsu temple. Parking is paid. Didn't try the food so no idea about it. Rooms and dorms are good enough.

On top in mcleodganj.. Highly recommended

I have stayed for 4 days in La siesta Hostel. Hostel is very good, clean and has a neat bathroom with hot water facilities.Beds are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly.Nice hostel for the price. Really enjoyed staying here.

Nice place, Dharamshala was my best stay in India so far. Pooja was so nice with me and I love the Dal Kichedi they prepared for me when I was sick ❤️ Wish you all the best

Beautiful rooms with terrace facing the valley, natural light and private bathroom. The perfect spot for having a private room on a budget. The team makes us feel so loved

I initially booked for 3 days but ended up staying 7 nights. They were always available and extremely kind. So clean and safe with great location in Upper Bhagsu. The room has a balcony with great views. You can eat on the hostel safely and tasty and also do laundry. Special thanks to the staff and especially for Ajay who was always amazing with me. I would definitely come back.

We loved our stay here. Great location for walking down into Mcleod Ganj and up into dharamkot/for Triund trek. The double room was so spacious and we had a balcony too, with a lovely view of the valley. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and created a lovely atmosphere. The cafe is also a bonus, we had hot drinks & delicious momos handmade there.

The value is insane! But it did lack the social element, despite the common area I didn’t really feel the vibe. There was food available and it was perfectly located off the main strip, otherwise nothing special.

I don’t normally write a review but the staff at this hostel were so warm, welcoming and helpful. They were always up for a chat and shared lots of info. After staying for two days we decided to do the truid trek. They helped us book accom and transport. When we got back let us hang out in the hostel the whole day while waiting for the night bus. It’s also a great location right in town and the rooms were also super clean and the bed sheets were fresh. Would definitely stay here again :)...

Staff were really helpful and friendly, location is good for cafes and hiking and the hostel has a nice area to chill out :)

Loved this hostel! The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and there’s a locker for every bed. The staff has been super nice and helped me with information and trekking reservation. The locations is perfect to visit Bhagsu and the surrounding. Very nice experience!

Great location to peacefully explore Mcleodganj. Staff are v helpful & common area is good for relaxing.
