Both the private and common rooms were simply cold and the heating wasn't working (middle of September). Quite a lot of dust which had gathered over a long time, and mould in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and organised.
With a limited budget, this is an ok place to stay.
Ho soggiornato in ostello con la famiglia (due adulti e due ragazze) in una stanza con 4 letti. La struttura è molto spartana, la cucina ottimamente equipaggiata anche se non proprio pulitissima. Il punto debole sono i bagni: freddissimi (l'estate in Scozia è molto piovosa e fare la doccia senza riscaldamento non è per niente piacevole), acqua dappertutto in terra e strutture veramente scadenti.
I stayed in hostel with the family (two adults and two girls) in a room with 4 beds. the structure is very spartan, the kitchen is excellently equipped although not very clean. the weak point are the bathrooms: freddissimi (the summer in Scotland is very rainy and taking a shower without heating is not at all pleasant), water dappertutto in the ground and really scanty facilities.
what would be nice to have : storage cupboards in the rooms, shower power is a bit weak, new items for the kitchen (pans are quite damage for instance). other than that, the place is quite remote and calm so it is perfect if you're looking for that. Direct acces to the country side and the hills from the house, which is great for a hike. And Nicola and Gavin are the nicest ! Would recommend !
Very poor Internet, small communal area for hostel..shower area poor...have to squeeze floor as it doesn't run away.
Buen sitio si quieres tranquilidad. No tienes nada alrededor y necesitas coche para llegar. Es muy acogedor y las habitaciones son amplias. La cocina está muy bien y tienes de todo, es destacable.
Quiet hostel off the main roads. I hiked to it from a bus stop in Roybridge, but realized that it is likely much more easily accessible for those with vehicles. Nice setting and comfortable spaces to relax.

La cuisine paraissait parfois sale (four, plan de travail). La salle commune se résume à une petite pièce comprenant une table et quelques chaises. Le WiFi n'est disponible que dans cette salle et il n'y a pas de réseau. L'auberge est située a 25 minutes de fort william. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible.
disappointed by this hostel. it was a little cold, the room was small, the bathroom, toilets and kitchen are in their juice. the kitchen sometimes looked sale (four, plan of work). the common room is reduced to a small room including a table and a few chairs. wifi is only available in this room and there is no network. the hostel is located 25 minutes from fort william. the staff is friendly and available.
Beautiful natural setting, you really should have a car if you plan to stay here though. Rooms were good, kitchen was great.
Localisé à 25 min de Fort William dans un cadre naturel au milieu de la forêt. Accueil chaleureux de la part du propriétaire, qui nous a partagé quelques bons conseils sur la région. Prix abordable pour une chambre privative. Cuisine très bien équipée et très propre. Salles de bain également bien entretenues. Le seul petit point négatif est qu'il faisait un peu froid dans la chambre, nécessitant un pull supplémentaire.
Located 25 minutes from Fort William in a natural setting in the middle of the forest. Warm welcome from the owner, who shared some good tips about the area. Affordable price for a private room. Very well equipped and very clean kitchen. Bathrooms also well maintained. The only small negative point is that it was a little cold in the room, requiring an extra pull.

Si vous cherchez quelque chose loin des grandes villes, cette place est parfaite. On se sent comme dans un chalet, la cuisine est très grande, salle à manger également. Les lits sont confortables et il y a seulement une pièce qui contient le wifi. Le personnel est vraiment gentil. Pour s'y rendre, ça prend une voiture, c'est a 25min de Fort William. Je vous recommande pour de long séjour de 3 jours et plus !
If you are looking for something away from the big cities, this place is perfect. It feels like a chalet, the kitchen is very large, dining room too. The beds are comfortable and there is only one room that contains wifi. The staff is really nice. To get there, it takes a car, it is 25min from Fort William. I recommend you for a long stay of 3 days and more !
Nicola was so friendly and the hostel is in a great location set back from the road. Short drive into Roy Bridge and 30 minutes to Ben Nevis (our reason for being there!). Couldn’t believe there was a sauna and was well needed! Big kitchen/eating area with loads of utensils, pans etc. it does look dated, but don’t be put off as it’s a great place to stay and base yourself for everything around.
Really enjoyed my time here, lovely building. Showers are a little tired but otherwise brilliant.
We love this hostel and the friendlyness of Nicola above all.
Nice quiet location, though fairly isolated so may be difficult to get to without a car (above 25mins drive from Fort William). Good facilities, especially the kitchen. The owner was also very friendly and helpful.
I can’t recommend this hostel more. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re coming to the area for some hiking. The owners are very helpful and go above and beyond. I had some complications with my travel, and I got sick, and they really went out of their way to help me out. Excellent hostel!

Hostel is well worth the money. Showers could be better with the drainage but if you enjoy mopping up you’re fine. Lovely sleep and nice walk around area. Only internet in the living room but that’s fine. Host is lovely say I smoked the kitchen out

the room is clean, the facility is good, the staff is really helpful. Although it is a bit remote if you don't have a car.
Loved it. A great location and a great hostel. We had a small room. It was very clean and exceptionally comfortable. The hostel has clean bathrooms with excellent showers and the kitchen is very well equipped. We received a very good reception on arrival and the whole place had a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
