Rude staff, congested property, not much vibes

Pretty rough experience. To be fair, I booked the same day, and it cost like $4 for a dorm bed, but the room bothered my allergies so much I had to sleep with ask on. Bathroom was gross. And they started doing loud construction work upstairs at 10am.

The staff was Friendly and helpful, but the bathroom was Dirty, people left the light on the whole Night and Kept talking loudly in the room.

Unfortunitly did not have a good stay. Positives - bathrooms cleaned and hot water Beds comfortable Good social space on roof with amazing view Negatives Don’t expect to sleep! There was people coming in and out of the dorm all night until 4am, opening bed curtain looking for friends, smoking on Dorm terrace all night, chatting. The party finishes on the roof early and continues in the dorms. I checked out after my 2nd night was so bad. Really a shame. More management of dorms needed

The hostel was okay—rooms fairly clean, though my curtain had mould and my side light didn’t work (I didn’t report it). Social areas look nice and the Ganges views are amazing at sunset. WiFi only worked on the roof. Power cut in and out constantly. Loud music until 10pm and noise after. Lots of big groups smoking on the roof, which made the space feel unapproachable. Maybe just bad luck with the crowd, but it didn’t feel welcoming, even for others in my dorm.

I’ll be honest, it wasn’t great. Staff were lovely but this was more of a beaten hotel than a hostel. Felt like there were too many rules like no alcohol and cant consume food on the terrace etc. the two night stay I was there my room must have had about 6 power cuts. No social atmosphere at all, if you want social go somewhere else.

Bridge was closed and we had to walk so far every time, hostel was quite in off season. Rooms where nice and the balcony was a great addition.

Not a hostel for resting. Shared dorm is right underneath the dance floor for late night parties. Showers don’t work properly - some don’t even go hot. ‘Hangout area’ pictured in photos of the balcony mean people have to walk through the dorm to get there and you can hear every word of the conversation clearly. Stayed at Joey’s by the Ganga and honestly, this place gets the fundamentals right which is rare. The food was consistently excellent. Not just “good for a stay,” but genuinely well-prepared, flavorful, and something you actually look forward to after a long day out. That alone puts it ahead of most places in Rishikesh. Das Hostel ist perfekt gelegen, das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben eine Sunset Tour organisiert, die wirklich unglaublich schön war. Das einzige ist, dass die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern definitiv besser sein könnte.

Amazing service, check in process, and views! The cafe on top has the best view in the city. Diksha has been incredible behind the front desk. Was very accessible for any questions I’ve had and has made my stay in Rishikesh very pleasant
