Very far out from city centre, wouldn’t recommend if looking to meet others

What an awful hostel 😭 I paid for a 6 person bedroom with a bunk bed and when I arrived I was put in a 4 person room with ONE bed shared (a/b) side. I was so uncomfortable as a woman to SHARE A BED with a 40 year old man. When I complained to the staff that I didn’t pay for this accommodation, they told me they would switch my room but I would still be SHARING a bed. There was 0 socialization and had no hostel culture. You had to pay so many fees for everything. I would avoid!

The receptionist Oleksandra didn’t say hello or even smile when I went to check in. She hostile which put me off. The lockers are small and you could only fit your hand luggage and not your backpack. This isn’t a hostel it’s a hotel full of young children even small babies and lots of creepy old men so if you’re a young backpacker looking to make friends with good vibes, this isn’t the place. The breakfast was cold which staff did nothing about and the atmosphere was miserable and depr...

I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience here. This hostel was honestly one of the most boring and uncomfortable places I’ve stayed. The atmosphere was weird, with a lot of awkward energy and strange people hanging around—not the kind of social, good-vibes hostel you'd hope for while traveling.

Charging for luggage leave???? Seriously? You shouldnt charge for that.

Not a great location, much of the staff are either unhelpful and/or generally not pleasant - 24 hour reception is a joke. They nickle and dime you for everything… Luggage storage is like $8 USD. Very clean room and fairly safe area are the only pros. For the price, I recommend avoiding Zurich in general (too expensive and extremely overrated) and go stay south in Interlaken, Lucerne, etc or if you want city stuff then visit Bern.

This hostel was probably one of the worst I’ve stayed at. The staff wasn’t too kind and lacked answers to many questions. They were also unorganized. The hostel is not cheap and you still have to pay for luggage storage, laundry and food. They will literally nickel and dime you for everything. We had to swap rooms due to flooding in the bathroom. The electrical outlets also didn’t work in many of our beds. The laundry app was also the worst thing to deal with. Terribly inefficent.

The guy sleeping my next to him when I arrive he was sleeping with. His pillow and mine and even gave me back, it was aggressive and the rest o f the people in the room the environment and the smell disgusting. Cleaning awful and not safe at all

This was my first experience in a hostel. The front desk people were very nice and even helped with suggestions of how to get around the city and to Lucerne. Our room was very clean and spacious. We only stayed 1 night, but loved everything about it. We had a corner room so there was plenty of sunshine and we were near the university so we could people watch out the window. Hot showers, clean sheets and towels. Just a note being from the USA there were no facecloths. Just bath towels. Wonderful!

Dorm had everything you need, including outlets and light by bed. Guest kitchen was also well equipped. Supermarket and train station nearby. Only improvement would be the cleanliness as when I arrived the bins were full and there was no toilet paper in bathroom.

Great stay for the price of the city, more parking spaces needed. Atmosphere is lively and grocery store 5 mins walk. Good food options inside hostel

I had an amazing stay here.

Our room was very nice and clean, and while the location isn’t directly in the city center, it is very easy to get to because it’s right near the train station. Overall, I would recommend this place!

Overall good quality for the price you pay. They could be a bit more cautious about the cleaning and also, my bathroom towel had a hole in it.

Fine if you are looking for a quick place to stay, but if you intend on staying for long in Zurich you may want to choose a place closer to city center. Also, room setup is awkward with two beds being very close to each other.

Great place to stay, other guests were nice. My first time in a hostel, I’ll stay again next year.

A bit outside the tourist zone, not really value for money but it is Zurich which is insanely expensive.... staff are friendly, decent size room, super quiet, somewhat impersonal but ok...

Had a private room, it was very comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly. Perfect distance to Manegg station. Bar was very helpful for late breakfast or a chill day.

This property is in a very peaceful place. The train is just a 3-minute walk away. Spar and Migros are close by. The cleaning team is very regular, and a kitchen is available.

Great hostel. The guest kitchen really needs at least one more sink, but otherwise great!
