tiny hostel, good vibe and people tho

There were a few things needing improvement in this hostel. We were unlucky to be given beds outside the actual building in a converted garage, there was a lack of security as you had to rely on others in the room locking the door. No lockers made this a big issue as we were concerned for our valuables the whole trip. Being in a separate building meant the wifi didn’t work and we were separate from the showers. L'ostello è molto vicino al lago, la proprietaria è gentile e disponibile. Purtroppo, la pulizia delle aree comuni non era delle migliori. Lo spazio nelle camere era davvero poco e all'interno non erano presenti Locker. Se si vuole vivere un esperienza più giovanile consiglierei altri ostelli nella zona.

It was dirty and loud. Only the location was good as it is close to the bus stop and supermarket.

Well located, 5ish minutes from the lake. On arrival a sign said to call a number for check in as owner was away but it wasn’t a working number, so had to go through Hostelworld and contact owner on holiday who then contacted neighbour. I can’t speak for all room options but I was in a room in a little shed outside, separate from the main house/kitchen/showers. This was a very small/cramped room with bad air con + small toilet. Try to avoid if u can

I was a little disappointed in this hostel as I found the bed to be very uncomfortable and made loud noises with every movement, so I was worried to wake anyone. There also was little security, nowhere to lock bags away so had to leave my bag unattended during the day. I was a little shocked to come back to my room, which had a door leaving onto the street, and find a key in the outside of the door, meaning anyone could walk in. Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again.

Good base for exploring Bled but felt overpriced for an ordinary level of facilities. Check in was a bit weird with no one around and had a while to wait before being let in.

The place is in a great position, out of the busiest and most fancy area but still very close to it and to what you want to visit (lake and castle). There's a tiny carpark (space for 4 cars) which in Bled is so convenient. Few choices for good food around the hostel also. Unfortunately I didn't find it particularly clean. And a bit expensive for what it is, but the whole area is quite expensive in general.

Was a good stay. There are no lockers for your belongings which is a bit annoying because it is nice to know that there is somewhere safe to leave all your stuff while your out. The glass was frosted but just not nearly frosted enough and you could easily see more than just the silohette of the person showering next to you. Not the most comfortable experience and makes it feel like you are showering with your room mate. Room was also very bright so bring an eyemask with you.

Quite a basic hostel but has everything you need. It’s aimed more at hikers and outdoorsy people. The owner is lovely and will help with anything, one lady who lives there and runs it. It’s a 5 min walk down the hill to the lake, was easy to find, a couple of restaurants near by. Bled is fairly small so it’s well connected. I didn’t really meet anyone here as people seemed to be in and out, but I was with a friend so I didn’t try very hard! Enjoyed my stay here.

This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at. The location is great, and the facilities couldn’t be better! The owner Colleen is such a gem that goes above and beyond! Absolutly recommend a stay here!

I loved this hostel! It is clean and calm, but it still has a social atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

This hostel had everything you need: nice showers (they get cold by the night) comfortable beds, clean linens. Nice faculty Cons:1) the wifi didn’t work at all I couldn’t use WhatsApp, I couldn’t send images, I couldn’t even check my mail or watch a video. Super séjour, l’établissement est situé proche du lac et d’une épicerie. Tout est accessible à pied. L’hôte a laissé de la nourriture à disposition gratuitement pour le week-end du 1er mai, toutes les épiceries étaient fermées. Le coin cuisine est entièrement neuf. Il manque un peu d’espace dans les toilettes hommes au 2e étage ainsi que dans les douches. Je recommande vivement

Lovely, clean and spacious rooms and facilities. Two kitchens and a shop across the road, so perfect for cooking. The room had lots of space, the bunks had curtains and there was a lovely view from the window! Lots of toilets in the hostel and nice showers. The owner Colleen is a gem, gave us advice on where to go and leaves maps of Bled for you to take and books to read + is always available if you need something. Colleen was an absolute gem, she made the hostel such a nice place to be! Facilities were great and such a sociable environment. Even better that it is super close to the lake! Thank you!!

Colleen was so helpful throughout my entire stay and had great tips for the area! The kitchen was well equipped to cook and the bathrooms were always clean

Loved this hostel! It’s not massive which means there’s a more intimate and friendly vibe in the common areas which was great, met some amazing people. The owner Colleen was so friendly and accomodating and made everyone feel so welcome. She provided some great recommendations and tips on where to go on things I probably would have missed otherwise. The facilities such as the kitchen and bathrooms were quite cramped however Colleen mentioned these areas are getting renovated in a month.

Great stay! Centrally located hostel. Air conditioning was great in the hot weather.

Great hostel, stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed my time there. Colleen, the owner, is tons of fun and gives really great local recs. My only critiques would be that there are only 3 toilets for men and 3 for women, and the showers are a bit cramped. Otherwise, it was super clean, well located, and had great vibes. Would recommend 100%!!

Colleen is really friendly and helpful but the bed in 10-bed dorm is not good, causes so much noise every time you move. The curtain for each bed is a big plus but the female bathroom is quite small and old.

One of the best hostel experiences! Felt super safe as a woman.

Great atmosphere

Had a great stay at this hostel, the location is only minutes from the lake and across the road from a shop you can purchase your own food or do laundry. Coleen is a fabulous host, giving a personable experience and providing complimentary food items (nice bonus). She is also very knowledgeable and has great advice if you are unsure what to do. The kitchen is small and can be a little awkward but while waiting is a great opportunity to chat to others. Would easily recommend it to others.
