Overall, I had a good experience during my stay. I thought the hotel’s location and atmosphere were great, and the staff was friendly. The place was clean and comfortable for a few days in Amsterdam. However, in terms of amenities, I feel that some details could be improved. In my case, the hair dryer in the bathroom didn’t work, and some basic amenities were missing that would have made the experience more comfortable. Nous avons été accueilli à 8h30 par un monsieur très désagréable qui nous a demandé de chercher nous même sur son ordinateur le nom de réservation. Le dortoir de filles pour 8 est en état de décomposition et les lits ne sont pas sécuritaire, 8 filles dans cette si petite chambre qui se partagent dans la même pièce une toilette et une douche c’est invivable. Le service pour les bagages et pratique, la situation est convenable malgres les travaux.

The staff was very friendly. The staircase leading to the hostel room was abnormally steep and dangerous. The bathroom light was not bright enough. The bunk bed was not stable as it was moving as I was trying to climb it. The floors were creaking every time someone was moving upstairs.

Staff was super kind and let me stay the night in a room all to myself! All great except being a little too far from the center!

Poor location, bed bugs

I had a very bad experience staying at this hostel and would not recommend it. The biggest issue was hygiene. There were bed bugs, which made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable sleeping there. The washrooms were absolutely disgusting dirty. The smell throughout the entire hostel was very bad and constant and the photos are old. The place does not looks like that anymore. Overall, the place is in very poor condition and does not meet basic standards of cleanliness or maintenance.

Really good hostel for the price and distance. It's about 20 minutes to the city center by tram but the station (Line 9) is literally right in front of the door and the terminal is in Sloterdijk which was awesome to me because I came and left by Flixbus. There's also a train station nearby so it's perfect to visit other cities or go to the airport. You can leave your bags in the luggage room. There's no kitchen but in the reception there are tables and a supermarket is right around the corner

Definitely a no-frills hostel but it’s good for what you pay for. Staff is accommodating and all the basic needs are met!

Not enough facilities. Had issues with my power outlet. Bathroom locks were a bit deceiving and didn’t help that some people were smoking weed in the building

Hostel without atmosphere since there are not really common areas, only at the reception. I have stayed in many great hostels around the world but found the vibes a bit strange here. Staff was distant, the hallway smelled very strange, the staircase is dangerous and the room was very small and hot for 8 people. Also the people staying in my room were not very considerate and stayed up laughing until 2 in the morning on a weekday. I had an early flight the next day so not a great experience.

Un solo baño y una sola ducha para 3 habitaciones, por lo que la limpieza no es de lo mejor. La escalera para subir a las habitaciones es realmente empinada, por lo que se recomienda ir con poco equipaje.

Es un buen lugar para quedarse, aunque está un poco retirado del centro, está muy cerca de una estación del metro y si aprendes a usarlo, puedes llegar a cualquier lugar súper fácil

The place is further away from the city center, but the tram stop is close and not that far you can get on the fast train to Amsterdam Centraal. The reception is in a different entrance to where the dorms are. Stairs are really steep, so get ready to spit your lungs out if you end up in rooms 400+. The toilet bathrooms are so small that you will need to do the split if you want to close the door. No benches in the showers and someone had a great idea of putting a urinal next to the showers.

Not enough bathrooms for the amount of people there - multiple rooms with only 1 bathroom per room and just an extra one. There are stairs of LITERAL DOOM that make it very hard to walk up them, they are superrrrr steep. The beds / comforters were actually very nice and I slept really well, but they were a bit dirty. The worst part was the no towels and minimal bathrooms for the population.

By far my favorite hostel. I was solo traveling and I booked the cheapest hostel room and I got a single room with a sink inside. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are big. There’s a bus line directly in front of the hostel and food options nearby. The metro station is about a 10 minute walk. The area was not sketchy at all.

En general, la experiencia fue buena. La habitación estaba bien y cumplía con lo necesario para la estancia. La ubicación es un poco alejada del centro, pero aun así es manejable y se puede llegar fácilmente en transporte. Lo único negativo fue la limpieza de los baños, que podrían mejorar bastante en ese aspecto.

C’est une bonne auberge de jeunesse. J’y ai passé 4 jours en chambre privée. Assez petite, avec un lit et un lavabo. Rien de choquant pour une auberge je trouve. Mais niveau prix ça vaut pas trop le coup. 590 euros pour 4 nuit, ça fait cher payé… j’y reviendrais probablement, mais pas à ce prix

Good budget place to stay, facilities are nice! Easy to get to where you need to go. No monitoring of noise though so if you have a bunch of 18yr olds in your room pre drinking until 12am like we did I don’t think there’s much you can do about it 😂
