Milhouse Hostel Avenue

Super clean and probably the most comfortable beds in a hostel I've ever had. The staff and volunteers are very friendly. They make an effort to create a "party" atmosphere and organize other activities, so it makes it easier to meet other travelers. Considering the size of the hostel, the kitchen is a bit less equipped but still absolutely sufficient for cooking.

A fantastic experience all around. The facilities were great, the location was excellent but most impressive were the staff. They were so helpful with every single question I had. In particular I have to mention Cande and Alex. They were so welcoming from start to end and really gave the place such a good atmosphere while also helping me with anything and everything I needed. Great place!

Perfeito, foi minha primeira experiência em um Hostel, recomendo para todo mundo que for fazer uma viagem sozinho. A localização é eprfeita, quartos limpos e arrumados, com bastante espaço para armazenar seus pertences. E todo mundo da recepção é extremamente amigável e acolhedor.

The Hostel has the furnishings of a hostel, making it a pleasant place. However the employees didnt show me any of the facilities, meaning I could not even find the toilet, since each place has it own toilet. The toilet were really dirty and not cleaned regularly. My biggest issue was that I found that they share my personal information with a guest, which makes it a clear 1 star overall rating. They should be allowed to run the hostel anymore.

Loved my stay at Milhouse! The rooms and bathrooms have a high standard of cleanliness and it has a good atmosphere.

Alex and Tina were the best hotel workers I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They were always kind, hospitable and very fun. The pub crawl (even though I was sober) was very fun nonetheless. Highly recommend anyone in Buenos Aires to stay here! Lots of good activities and advice!

Decent hostel in Buenos Aires. Good atmosphere and amenities. Cleaning service is provided daily which is nice. Front desk team was also incredibly attentive and helpful at all hours. It’s not in the best location and quite a walk / Uber to areas like Recoleta, San Telmo, Palermo, etc. and there weren’t as many hostel events / activities as I was expecting… especially if you’re going on a Sunday- Monday like I did.

Hostel was very clean, beds had privacy curtains which was nice. Didn’t use kitchen but there is one. Hostel bar was somewhat lively the night they did karaoke but others can be dead. Elevator can be slow so if you have an upper floor dorm can be a pain to take the stairs. Liked the neighborhood there’s a nice coffee shop next door.

We liked our stay here- the staff are really friendly and help you explore the city. The rooms are comfy and you feel you have privacy

Nice Hostel, especially if you are looking for a place with a central location. The rooftop is really chill.

Hostel hard to find when I arrived late at night. The check in process took wayyyy too long for 2am. Dorm was ok. Reasonably quiet. Beds comfortable, decent storage space. But bathroom door was broken. Also no hot water in the morning or evening, when most people take showers. Staff were rude and unprofessional, juvenile. Can’t pay card at the hostel bar, need to add to your tab. I also would advise against booking activities with them, seem overpriced. Luckily I didn’t book any with them.

Enjoyed my stay but didn’t really find it social. Also, the ladder for the upper beds is very dangerous! Other than that, all good, comfy, liked the terrace and the empanadas!

If you come to Buenos Aires, this is the only hostel you should consider staying at. The place is incredibly clean, brings a great group of guests together and offers more activities than any other place. Truthfully, one of my favorite hostels I've stayed at anywhere in the world.
