- I paid 470 NZD for a night's stay from booking.com. That's a rip-off for that kind of motel and I checked on the motel website for the room prices, so I think Booking.com charged me way higher than the actual price. Never going to book again from here. I was disappointed with my stay. The room is in desperate need of renovation—it felt very old and worn. The furniture was worn, the carpet was dirty, and it smelled musty. More concerning was the bathroom, which had mould and was outdated. While the staff was friendly, the room conditions were poor. Not worth the price.

- Inconvenience caused because of booking.com. and hotel staff was quick to seize the opportunity to extort extra money. At the time of booking, even after putting 2 adults and 1 child(8 years) booking.com was showing child stay free. After booking booking.com given confirmation for 2 adults only. And since child entry was not there, hotel staff saw opportunity to charge extra for room which already has provision to sleep 3 people. Manager was so rude that he was asking us to cancel the booking if we don't pay extra and was ready to bite all the booking money. It was bad experience and we ended up paying extra money because of error by booking.com and opportunistic manager of hotel who charged extra without doing any changes in room configuration

+ I booked a studio but it had a missing microwave. The microwave was apparently removed by the management because the studio had the microwave cabinet and power outlet but the management never bothered to replace the microwave. The motel had no breakfast. Instead we were given vouchers for a nearby restaurant which had cheap food. The studio was way overpriced for what it offered. After I checked out on time, I was accused of having an additional person in the studio overnight which I didn't but my credit card was charged an extra $40 without my authorization. I called the motel and explained that I had a friend visit me for a few minutes during the day but the management rudely refused to listen. They didn't respond when booking.com tried to reach out and discuss the matter. Don't trust this motel management with your credit card information.

+ The worst service from staff and one in particular who stated he was the general Manager. The room was dirty and ridiculously over priced. We didn't even end up staying choosing to drive home instead. Would discourage anyone from staying there.

+ Couldnt see the lake from the room The location was in the centre of Tekapo so this was the only thing going for this place

- The rooms where rough with hair dryer falling off the wall, curtain rail broken so you could open or close the curtain, not tv in the lounge area, folding door between the lounge and master bedroom was broken etc etc

+ The location was good, breakfast was average.

- Our unit was quite smelly, there were no comfy chairs and the only TV was in the bedroom. Also the kitchen chairs covers were very dirty. There were three of us and only one face cloth provided.

- Annoncé avec petit dejeuner compris mais le service commence tard 8h contrairement aux autres hébergements en Nouvelle Zélande car les voyageurs partent tôt ! Le petit déjeuner servi sans cafe ni thé si on le prend. Nous sommes petis a 7h30 sans consommer petit déjeuner . Site avec beaucoup d'hôtels et donc beaucoup de lumière donc ciel étoilé peu visible.

- Price is a bit high.

+ Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick auf den See Tekapo. Viele Restaurants und ein Supermarkt sind fußläufig erreichbar.

- Man bekommt einen Frühstücksgutschein für das Restaurant nebenan - die Auswahl ist allerdings recht eingeschränkt (entweder "Englisch Breakfast" oder "Eggs on Toast").

+ Breakfast was average

+ Convenient option to stay in Tekapo. The view is ruined by other buildings. But has everything you may need for a short stay.

+ Location is good

- Property is tired and bathroom needs a whole upgrade.

+ A very comfortable bed. Nearly a good view of the lake (despite the Dark Skies building). Easy parking.

- The credit surcharge of 3%. The inability to take foreign debit cards. The very early cancellation date and the high cost for a what is essentially a motel. The lack of plates (despite having knives and forks).

+ Good size room, great water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed, located in the centre of town, good sized balcony, the view of lake tekapo.

- The stairs to the first floor need some TLC The included breakfast at a cafe nearby was almost inedible. We opted not to have it on our second morning No microwave

+ La proximité avec le lac est un plus. L'appartement (lave wiew suite) était lumineux.
