We booked an 8 person room… then they added two more beds and it became a 10 person room. They did not ask us if this was okay nor did they give a discount. There were no lockers in this room so everyones bags just in the middle of a crowded room.
The grandma is adorable however the daughter is a bit grumpy , even though the grandma is very cool doesn’t mean the hostel is it , they don’t have enough lockers , you don’t have plugs to charge, no curtains, no common areas, no privacy. Well the toilets are super clean so if you’re looking for a good shower this is the place.
The hostel was fine but not great, as I would expect from its current exceptionally high rating (9.9). The room was clean and well AC-ed. Other than that, facilities were not great. Tiny toilet areas (banged knees on door while seated) and the one more private shower has a broken door. The only common area was a windowless living room with seating for 3/4 at most. Laundry was a whopping 10eu! Not many activities, just a walking tour that is offered every other day. Not great for solo travel
It was okay the staff is friendly and it’s not to far from the city/bridge but the beds are just terrible
Good to stay for few nights, very nice hosting family, and pretty clean. But impractical appliances and rather impractical rooms (no small lights, crinkly beds, no charger at the bed...). Still recommendable, especially with the breakfast, but nothing extraordinary I guess
Nice location, good staff and nice local breakfast. Not the cleanest but works for a night or two.
Highly recommend the tour! Best thing we did on our trip and the staff were the cutest 🩷 basic in terms of facilities but fine for what we needed
Pretty good hostel, staff were lovely, location was alright pretty easy to walk to everything, not very social however, as a result a bit boring
Tour was expensive but good. But there is no where to hang out outside of your dorm. At 10pm your options are bed or going outside of the hostel which is annoying if it’s raining….
Hostel is ok but maybe not the best option for solo travellors. It was quite clean but I did not feel so welcome. Was more like a normal B&B, had no common room, kitchen could not be used and staff just wanted you to do the tour, which is quite expansive (didn't do it, so can't say if tje price was worth it)

Amazing owners, highly recommend
Hostel Nina was great. I received the most amazing hospitality from the family. The tour was amazing and really made my trip.
This hostel was super cozy almost like a second home! It was super clean and safe. Nina and her mother made my stay unforgettable. I loved the home cooked breakfast every morning. They also let me check in around 8PM which was really great. And also the shower on another room was perfect. First time on my trip feeling actually clean.
Great stay! Staff were so kind and welcoming, the homemade breakfast was delicious, no complaints at all!
It was absolutely fantastic. Super easy to find and walk to from the bus station. Receptionist was great.
Great hostel to stay at very close to the old town in Mostar. They organise day trips to see the Hercegovina region outside of Mostar, making it very easy. Great hosts too.
Awesome staff and super clean facilities!
We had a fantastic time staying at Hostel Nina! We felt so comfortable and everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The day tour was so fun and it felt cozy! The location is also so great! Thank you so much for being welcoming and the great desserts that we got to try 😁😁😁😁 we’re definitely coming back soon!
A very comfortable stay in Nina home. Couple and grandmother are hospitable too. Served coffee and dessert unexpectedly. Place is about 5 mins walk to.old town. Clean and safe.
We are two young travelers from Germany and stayed at Hostel Nina for two nights. We were warmly welcomed by the family, the atmosphere was really good, the rooms were clean and the location was perfect for exploring the old town of Mostar. On our last day we booked the day tour provided by the hostel. It was a great opportunity to see all of the main sights in Herzegowina and to learn about the history of the country by a local. All in all we would highly recommend staying at Hostel Nina.
Nice hostel, good city tour!
A beautiful homestay, come here if you want to understand Bosnian hospitality. Good community space, very clean property.
Do not stay anywhere else in Mostar!! This hostel was so special, from the free homemade breakfasts each morning, to the incredible full-day tour and the friendliness of the other guests. We had a great time here. Highly recommend :)
Excelente hostal, muy recomendable.
Nice place to stay!
Very beautiful and social hostel
Great staff and an excellent day tour well worth 50 euro. Basic accom and showers but the breakfast is a huge plus. Also free lockers with keys which is super helpful. Thanks Nina!!!
One of the nicest hostels I’ve been too! Super lovely staff and people there were lovely and chatty!
We had an amazing time at Hostel Nina. The host and her family could not be any nicer to us, the morning breakfasts were really sociable and it felt like being part of a family. The hostel is in a perfect location in Mostar too. I would recommend to anyone travelling in the Balkans!
We loved it ! Feels like a family, and the tour is great. Would love to come back some day
