Hotel da Galé**

Terrible - got to the hostel to find a sign on the door saying hostel was closed and that we’d have to go another one. Did not receive any notice of this and the replacement hostel had a lower rating and was in poorer condition than we expected.

No room cleaning in time shower flimsy and not very functional

no airconditioning, overpriced

Hi I liked the location of the hotel. I just didn’t like getting a pizza one night on my way home and being stopped by a boy on reception rudely and abruptly telling me I wasn’t allowed have any food in the hotel. It stated NOWHERE on my reservation or the website that your not allowed eat in there so it’s not fair to be rude to some one when they get something to eat especially as there is no kitchen in the apartments. Ruined the experience of the hotel for me

The only thing holding up the place was the staff, they were so helpful and kind - 10/10 for the staff! The terass offered a great view, however the building is a run down and the rooms were tiny and with the water being broken in the bathroom (and it made a constant noise) it was hard to relax. Some of the rooms don’t have ac so be sure to book with ac especially if you travel there during summer.

Very noisy, poor insulation, old hotel.

Great location, wish it would have central air. Great view of the city and the ocean. The receptionist were very helpful.

Cool place to sleep for a night but not much. The beds were really small but the room was clean.
