Bled Hostel II

Dirty and was not worth the money.

The room was too small for 6 persons, also every evening the shower was cold.

The showers smelled like urine and did not have hot water. Our group of 7 opted not to shower as a result. There were 3 bathrooms for over 40 people in the dorm and they were always full and never clean. I have stayed in many hostels and have never left a review but felt inclined due to the lack of cleanliness.

Expensive but other than that its good

Some of the staff are really rude. They walk in later in the evening and turn on the lights to get people checked in after people in the room are already sleeping. They were also rude when asked about accessing the kitchen in the morning. Other staff were more helpful but the noise, dirtiness of the bathroom and kitchen, and the rude staff made this hostel not a great experience.

Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen are so dirty. Our room door was constantly left open. Room did have AC so that was good. Central location.

Very small lockers - towels not provided - not social at all - might just be the time of year, and there was a large group of middle aged tourists who dominated the shared spaces so found it difficult to meet anyone

Packed in like sardines and not enough facilities for amount of people. Justin was informative of local info but timings/distance were under estimated and proved to be frustrating on info received for hiking to the gorge and start point of a trail in Bohinj. Kitchen locked until 8 am so if you need to fill up your water bottle for an early hike you can’t! Clean, good location. Lively.

Really lovely hostel with friendly staff and great location. The kitchen facilities were great and clean . It could benefit by having more toilet facilities as there was often a queue in the morning. Other than that it was great and would recommend!

I really loved my stay here. Staff is great and super helpful, location is pretty central to the town and has multiple grocery stores nearby. It is a bit of a walk to designated swimming areas but it's a beautiful path so I didn't mind! The kitchen is nice and comfortable to use and I loved all the seating on the terrace, however communal space is limited if weather is bad as most seating is outdoors. My favorite thing was the showers- amazing water pressure and gets so hot!!

Stuff is chill af. There's a terrace to smoke, dry you clothes or whatever, and with the sun you can eat there with the view. They have their own pub, it closes at 11 pm so that's a downside, but in the pub there is: cheap and good beer, a tv with a console to play fifa, table football and darts, all for free!They also project like every soccer game of premier league and european competitions. Dorm is fine, clean, and every guest has a security box. The common zone is big and the kitchen fine.

Fantastic hostel, staff are really kind and helpful and the location is perfect. The rooftop is lovely to sit and work from :)

Lovely Social Hostel! Meet so many cool folk!

stayed in the 4 bed dorm, plenty of space in the room. Clean kitchen, decent size and not many people cooked when I stayed so easy to use. lovely terrace space and nicely located by the castle away from most of the noise from bled. Easy to meet people

Nothing bad to say at all. Great place, lovely staff, social atmosphere but without being too busy or loud, good bar with cheap beer, really clean and the balcony was great. Super easy to get to all the places you’d want to visit. Supermarket two minutes away. Felt safe as a solo female traveller.

The outside area and the more modern look and feel makes this a step up from Bled Hostel I for me

Lovely hostel, 3 minutes from the lake on foot, nice pub with cheap drinks, the place to be to have a good time in Bled

Great hostel!! Perfect location, everyone is so friendly and helpful, nice and clean, couldn’t ask for more ;)) Would highly recommend for anyone to stay here and explore bled!

Nice hostel. All amenities and baths were very clean and well prepared. Location is very nice and convenient to bus station and grocery. And of course, the Lake. The common area closes at 10 pm which is a bummer if you just want a place to sit. They close it bc they want to keep the noise down. However, when I was there, many guest were extremely loud as they just moved their social setting to the hallway or rooms. Maybe keep the common area open longer.

we were so grateful for bled hostel II !!! everything was super clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. we had no issues at all :)) only two notes were that the little nightlights by the beds get suuuper hot like be careful because you can burn yourself lol. oh and the door to the hostel didn't really lock right away whenever we left. but no major issues it was a perfect weekend totally recommend

Absolutely amazing! Such a comfortable atmosphere. The staff was super nice and made us feel really welcome. And I have never been to a cleaner hostel!! Location is also perfect. If you go to Bled, this is the hostel you should stay at.

Lots of community talk around the shared kitchen/dining area. Everything was good, will definitely be staying again if I am ever back this way.

Bled hostel is the BEST place to stay. It was my second time there and I will definitely come back again. The owners and staff are just lovely, very helpful and so welcoming! Besides the common area there is a pub downstairs which is a great place to connect to other travelers. Can’t wait to be back!

Im Hostel wurde man sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Küche kann bis 22 Uhr benutzt werden und dann wieder ab 8 Uhr. Die Regel ist sehr hilfreich, weil man die Lautstärke ansonsten sehr im Zimmer hört, so ist garantiert, dass ab 22 Uhr geschlafen werden kann. Alle Menschen waren sehr Social und hilfsbereit.

nice little spot close to the lake, rooms and bathrooms fairly clean & staff friendly and helpful - only thing was the shower wasn’t hot! but recommend nonetheless

Best Hostel so far of my trip! Everything is clean, well organised, the staff and owners are so kind, really make you feel at home. I wish I could have stayed longer, I recommend this place to anyone in Bled 🥰

Good location and with a nice sports pub type bar downstairs. Decent kitchen and rooms are good standard with lockers. Not enough toilets between everyone (2 once the kitchen closes) and no curtains for each bed in the rooms which would’ve been nice.

I had a great time here, right near the lake. Good group of guests there which made it all the more enjoyable!
