Marina Square Hostel

This hostel doesn’t exist anymore. Not fun to realize at 3am. They opened Hostify Hostel down the road which is great. Friendly and accommodating staff that corrected HostelWorld’s error and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. The room has a/c, is very clean, bathrooms are clean, breakfast made fresh and so delicious. Only leaving such poor stars to let people know it is not this hostel and if you are booked here call Hostify Hostel to let them know.

Nous avons dormis dans des tantes pour un prix de 10 euros la nuit, la machine à lavé coûtais 5egps la pièce ! Autrement le déjeuné était bon et l’endroit propre

location is good and staff friendly. i thought I booked a bunk bed but was given a bed in a tent in a room. Nowhere written in the site about tents. Bed comfy but a bit warm in the tent, no locker in that room. I was assigned the wrong bed, aand after midnight a lady came in and shouted at me for taking her bed. No apology from the staff/owner. Also nnit worth booking directly as same price as here.Big plus for Araby at reception, friendly and helpful

Warning - some of the dorm rooms do not have bunk beds, they have TENTS! Yes, actual tents. And it's not stated anywhere during the booking process. On the first night, I was very surprised to be shown to my tent. I asked to move to the dorm as pictured but was told there was no available space that night. Very disappointed in the dishonest booking process. Fortunately, this was only a blip in an otherwise immaculate stay. I moved to a dorm bed for the second night. These are super comfortabl...

Nice hostel with a great atmosphere. The staff, especially Matthew and Mahmoud, go out of their way to make guests feel at home. We really had a good time there!Some things, in my opinion, need improvement: I found it annoying that people smoked on the entrance stairs. Every time I came back to the hostel, I had to battle through a fog of smoke. Also, the cleaning lady used a detergent that was too strong, which ruined .y trousers. Overall however, would recommend this hostel.

Hostel is clean and in a central location with beaches, shops, and bars all walkable. Breakfast is simple but good. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and with AC. WiFi patchy but this is normal for Egypt. Matthew the host is one of the most helpful and hospitable people I have met in years of travelling, for example joining us for dinner and then accompanying to the bus station after his 12 hour shift to help us buy tickets without being scammed

Fantastic hostel, super clean, has everything you need and plenty of showers and toilets so you’re never waiting. The bathrooms were super clean and so were the hostel dorms. Great location as well, walking distance to good restaurants. The only negative thing I have to say is there was one staff men need in particular who was rude on various occasions. He really dampened my experience in the hostel. I forgot his name but he was young and lacked basic customer service politeness.

Everything was very good, no big problems to highlight. The staff were very kind and friendly. The proposed excursions were very valuable and at a good price.

I just passed by Hurghada, and the hostel was perfect for that.

Feels like home! Only spent 3 days but wish I stayed longer. Big thanks to Matthew for being the best host and Mahmoud for organising incredible events every night! I will definitely be back soon 🤩

It was a very welcoming place and I felt quite comfortable there. Their staff is super nice and helpful.

WONDERFUL HOSTEL I had a wonderful time chatting with Matthew, he made me feel at HOME, Free coffee, the whole day. this was awesome. The airport pick up was PERFECT The Best part was the DAILY SOCIAL EVENT , dinner wirh an egyptian and going out, bar Karaoke I chose the TENT room, comfy matrace! , the advantage of the tent is , that you can close it . Excellent place to stay. Located in the centre of Hurghada. Not so big so there is a more intimate atmosphere. For social activities there is cooperation with Bedcoin hostel. The place is cleaned on a dailey basis. The staff is very sociable and can set you up with activities and tours.

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Marina Square Hostel und hatten eine tolle Zeit! Unser Privatzimmer war sauber und hatte alles, was man braucht. Auch die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren sauber. Der Standort war super, 5 Gehminuten vom al Sakia Beach und der Marina entfernt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, mit ägyptischen Spezialitäten, viel Auswahl und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, Mariama war ein Schatz!

this hostel is AMAZING. The Staff is the best! They are so friendly and you are welcomed as a Familymember. A special thank goes to MARIAM! She is the best! Also the breakfast was amazing and it was always super clean. There exist no problems, only solutions.

Probably my best stay at a hostel ever. The people I met there were really awesome, we played games, did some diving and ordered or went for food together. I even got sick at the end and they gave me everything I needed. Matthew ist the best!! If I ever come to Hurghada again, I definitely know where I’ll stay.

We initially booked a hotel in Hurghada but were disappointed with the quality. Thankfully, we found Marina Square Hostel and it was a game-changer! The price was better, the location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s just a short, easy walk to the beach, making it the ideal spot to stay. If you're looking for great value and an amazing experience, this is the place to be!
