Das hostel hat mir insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Die lage ist optimal, etwas ruhiger aber natürlich nicht ganz im zentrum. die Atmosphäre war eher ruhig wie es in china üblich ist, das personal war nicht nur extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit sondern hat auch Aktivitäten veranstaltet. insgesamt fand ich es top

Really modern yet welcoming, it's definitely one of the best hostel I've stayed at. Great facilities and services, staff is welcoming and always ready to help. Also, everything is made so that we can easily meet new people, if we want to. I highly recommend !

Genuinely an insane hostel for the price, good social life and good location 10 minutes from the train station. Would definitely book again and also forgot to mention the facilities were insanely nice

Arguably one of the best hostels I have stayed in. In terms of cleanliness, privacy management of showers, infrastructure etc.

Lovely hostel with a convenient central location and plenty of atmosphere. Pub and cafe built in so you don’t need to go far to meet fellow travellers

My friends and I had a lovely stay here. The staff were very friendly and kept all the facilities super clean. It also felt well secured. It was also always super quiet in our room, but downstairs there would be live singing which was super fun.

Shanghai Desti was one of the best hostels we have stayed at. It was very clean, great atmosphere and amenities. Beds were very comfortable as well. I will look to stay at a Desti hostel the next time I am in China.

I have stayed in many hostels across Asia and this was my favourite one. The place was kept to a very high standard, beds were comfortable, location was great and the facilities were spot on. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The receptionist Heidi and barman Jason were particularly great and were a tremendous standout to this hostel. The customer service was excellent. For the price you will not find a better hostel

Place was relatively far away from the metro station, staff was nice but no one replied my email so i had to call.

Great hostel! Perhaps too cozy as I would accidentally take a nap the few times I came back just to briefly rest. Very clean and nice, I just wish there were more social events to meet people! Supposedly there is one every day, but the times are not listed so I never got to go to one.

Really cool, cosy and clean hostel! Heidi and Amore were really welcoming and gave clear instructions. Thanks Amore again for lifting my huge bag and heavy bag up the stairs. Next time I'm in Shanghai, this will definitely be my place of stay.

The hostel is wonderful! There is a lot of traffic of young and international guests with many different backgrounds, and the staff is incredibly nice. I had a really good time with Simi, Lai, Felix, Peter and Heidi. Also the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, modern and clean, there is a huge difference compare to other hostels with similar prices. I will recommend it 100% without any doubts!!!

Staff were brilliant! Really modern hostel with great facilities and the bar next to the hostel is great fun at the weekend!
