Mi Surf Hostel Mirissa

The hostel was ok overall but there were a few issues such as the WiFi not working in the rooms and the tap in our dorm bathroom being broken when we arrived. This was fixed during the course of our stay though. There is pungent smell of drainage around the hostel location. The staff our friendly but the communication isn't great (kept ringing us - about 5 times on our first day, instead of giving us the relevant information on whale watching etc when we asked). Good location and space tho.

The place is ok but very basic. No hand soap in the bathroom No shower gel / shampoo No water refill you have to go to the shop No extra pillows when asked WiFi was extremely bad

pros - amazing staff, nice family dinner, location close to beach, clean dorm. cons - mosquitos everywhere and no nets, super bright bunk lights, not enough showers/toilets, never any soap, only cold showers and bad pressure, social activities tended to be an event outside of Mirissa

The hostel was alright just that didn't feel much safe there and the A/C kept on going off in our room :/ it has been malfunctioning for a while now itseems. Wasn't very convenient but the safe was friendly.

Very chilled and relaxing hostel. Good sized rooms and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and very close to the main road so could get everywhere without a tuk tuk.

Wir hatten einen super cuten stay! Management und volunteers sind Mega lieb und kümmern sich gut um einen :) Am besten haben uns die Hostelaktivitäten gefallen 🥰 Das einzige was sehr anstrengend war, waren die sehr lauten Schubladen und die knallenden Türen in den Dorms. Da konnte man versuchen so leise zu sein wie man will, das ganze Dorn war dann doch wach :D

A really homey vibe! Really social and lots of activities. The rooms are really clean. Sharma was really helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Couldn’t recommend enough

Great location but a bit hard to find. Comfy beds, great shower and staff were super friendly and helpful. Could improve by having somewhere to refill water. Also aircon was clearly a dated unit and not too effective but i enjoyed my stay here :)

Un hostel incroyable avec un personnel très sympathique et une ambiance folle !

Super cosy social hostel, my first 10 minutes and I was already playing cards with the host and some people. AC is nice and many (optional) activities. Only thing is the bathroom I didn’t like so much, toilet roll was missing a lot and it gets dirty quite fast

awesome Hostel with awesome owners in a great Location. Just over the street and you are at the Beach. and in the Hostel you See quite offen Monkeys which is quite cool. They are also really social Hostel trying to connect people but dont force IT If you wanna stay solo. can recommend it a Lot!

For a hostel it was quite clean, especially the sleeping area! Dont expect a super duper clean bathroom as you of course share it with seven others. There was something for everyone, family diners, surflessons or going out together etc. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Location very nice as well! But a bit difficult to find; look for a small bridge from the main road through a tight alley. Monkeys in the garden, very nice :-).

Great hostel

Great hostel with a relaxed and social atmosphere. The dorms are clean and comfortable, and the curtains add privacy. The location is very perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. They also have a cafe, which is definitely worth checking out. Cat and Sharma are amazing hosts and a big reason I extended my stay. They create such a welcoming and friendly environment. Would definitely recommend and I would really be back and stay again for sure.

Super schön in der Natur gelegen, man sieht viele Affen und Pfaue. Die Zimmer sind groß und in die Schließfächer hat sogar mein 80L Ruckssvk easy reingepasst. Ganz toll ☀️🐬

lovely hammocks outside and really clean rooms. WiFi didn't reach to the rooms. staff were helpful

Lovely hostel with great staff! The hostel is social with activities to get involved with each day. It’s not a party hostel but they do give you good discount on parties throughout the week! the surf lessons are great too. The hostel is also very clean with A/C in the rooms too. The location is perfect to explore Mirrisa and the surrounding areas. It’s a two minute walk to the beach!! Really recommend this hostel! Thank you guys :)

Amazing Hostel! The Rooms are clean and good. It is really cozy to sit in the common area and enjoy time or play games with other guests. The staff is also super friendly
