+ Zero customer service. The room felt like a sauna and when I told the staff, they told me to fix it myself. Instead of helping, they canceled my reservation. I had to leave and pay for another hotel because they didn’t care. Very disappointing — they prefer to cancel instead of helping their guests. Would never stay here again.
- The only good part of my experience was leaving this place. It seems like they think that because young people stay here, they can treat everyone however they want. That’s exactly why they act like this — no respect, no real customer service. My best moment was walking out of a place where nothing and no one is valued.

Another great HI experience. Nice space, friendly desk, clean rooms. Dorm was fine, big lockers (bring a lock/buy for $8), sturdy bunks, comfortable mattress—only suggestion: maybe stiffen up the door so it closes a little more softly. But with my Bluetooth eye pillow, I slept just fine. Only there one night, so can't comment on the kitchen or anything beyond taking a nice hot shower and sleeping. But would stay again.
Front desk staff Krystal showed clear bias and treated Asian guests unfairly. She was completely unreasonable, illogical, and evasive when addressed with issues. Her condescending attitude was the 'cherry on top' of a terrible experience. If you’re looking to get into an argument with staff and have your trip ruined, this is the place for you.
Fantástico
Boston Hostel is very accessible, even though I only stayed for one night. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated that the guests were respectful and cooperative in following the rules and regulations, which created a comfortable and organized environment.
Everything was great
Appreciated a very helpful staff. Room was clean and quiet, common areas were comfortable, parking at the garage around the corner was a good deal through the hostel. Thanks!
I booked an all female dorm but the staff accidentally put me in a mixed room for the night. I was a bit uncomfortable with that realization when I had been assured I was in a single sex dorm, but when I told a staff member we the next day he made the moment right and was really great about the whole thing. Security to get into the building was great, cleanliness of bathrooms left something to be desired.

Overall pretty nice hostel and I liked the daily activities. That said, I do still find it very expensive
Good location and the place was really clean, which I appreciated. The only issue for me was the beds. They weren’t very comfortable, so it was a bit hard to rest well. Other than that, everything was fine.
Hostel was clean and easy to navigate. Staff were approachable and helpful. Great location located near the South Station and Boston Convention Center. Facilities were well stocked and secure. Kitchen was clean with lots of space but sadly no towels.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Hi Boston. Super friendly staff, great activities and all the facilities one would need. Preferred the single person shower and toilet combination. Much easier. Top location. Just 150 metres to the nearest Metro station. Free luggage storage with an organised and secure system. Highly recommend

Really good hostel. Located in China town so there is great food and good transport links. The front desk staff are super helpful and it was clean with a kitchen, washing machines and a study. Felt really safe and secure too.

Great stay
I was honestly shocked. Not because I expected it to be bad, but becaise I did not expect it to be so good for what I was paying. I even bought a mug to commemorate the stay. Wish I had taken more time to enjoy the events they provided.
