The washrooms were clean, the room was small and had a slight odour but you could open a window for ventilation. The staff is really friendly and helpful, you can store your luggage before and after check in & check out — free of cost. The hostel has multiple bus stops nearby.

Beautiful property, would stay here again in a heartbeat! We loved the cafe and the cool vibe. There were some negative reviews about how loud the door locks are - I wasn't bothered by them at all and I tend to be a light sleeper. The only complaint we had was that it got hot and stuffy at night, but this is a problem with every capsule style hostel I've stayed at so it was expected.

Hostel Niniroom was a nice place with cute bathrooms and rooms! The biggest issue I had was that there was no elevator, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Staff were friendly and it is close to the bus stop and the subway!

Hostel was clean and comfortable and had everything needed. Showers and laundry were all good and the staff were friendly and kind. The location was a little walk out of the centre of town. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel for solo travellers looking to meet people as it wasn’t particularly social hostel.

I need to mentioning that the staff is super supportive.. even helped to find a suitable hospital. 11 from 10🙃😀.

The staff, facilities, and location were all excellent. The café on the ground floor is a nice bonus as well. My only complaint is that I had pretty consistent issues with the wifi.

Great hostel with very clean facilities. However, our room was very small so it felt quite cramped, especially for the price we paid. We still enjoyed our stay though. The common area is nice and has a relaxed vibe. In the morning there are plenty of bakeries nearby which have amazing pastries.

The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful. One of the owners personally helped me to try and book events, and gave great advice for shopping areas outside of the most touristy streets. I recommended staying here even just for that. Cons: subpar laundry machine, no men’s bathroom on the 2nd floor, shared rooms were cramped and stuffy. The private rooms were significantly better and I switch to that.

Auberge propre et bien placée. Personnel incroyable.

Super cute and clean hostel. Their tips were great, but it was pretty quiet both at the hostel and in the area. There were not many people, and there was not much going on, but cute things to do within walking distance for sure. Definitely would recommend renting a bike for a day, that was epic.

Very nice Hostel, beds were comfortable, showers clean. It has a cafe downstairs & a very cute photo gallery in the stairwell :) A little bit outside of the inner city, but good if you want to calm down a little bit, good atmosphere but not too social :)

Location is pretty good -- it's in a more quieter area of Kyoto but still within walking distance of things. My cot had a nice little nook for storage and plugs for everything I needed. The room was quite stuffy and not the best ventilated. It was also annoying that the men's showers were a floor below where I was staying.

Not super close to everything but great stay overall! Staff was great super super clean! Beds were comfy and bathrooms were super nice even had rainfall shower heads. No elevator so beware if you have heavy luggage!

Very cute and comfy hostel, lovely staff, walking distance from where we wanted to go, great cafe on the first floor - perfect!

This was such a special place- I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Kyoto. I will definitely be back!

People is super nice and the food is great, organized and in a good price. I would stay there again

Not very social but had a great vibe. Felt safe. I like how everyone gets their own nook. Walking distance from the bars. I’d stay here again.

I'd say 10/10 but the dryer doesn't dry and they don't wash their blankets and I think thats gross. But overall one of the best hostels I've stayed in.

Lovely staff, really nice open shared space, clean and comfortable.

l'auberge est dans un endroit calme mais en même temps proche du métro et du centre ville. les chambres sont propres et pratiques, pareil pour l'espace salle de bains. le café est très cool et il y a même un prix sur le petit déjeuner le matin!

Awesome I booked it last minute and they were all verry accommodating.
