The service provider is extremely rude and has no proper customer service.. price was good but the service was extremely poor
I traveled a lot of countries and the Coliving in Brunei is the most disgusting hostel I met especially the owner who occupy all branches in Brunei. Due to the power outage, the owner arranged us to Coliving Kiulap which is 2km far away from main attractions. In order to save money, all guests were arranged to their car until the car is full which wasted us 1-2 hours. When we arrived, due to the language barrier between the owner and aother South Korean guest, they argued for the fare of tra...
As other travels say, don’t go there. The owner is lack of hospitality and they don’t fix wifi and electricity issue even thought they both were the owners problem. Not recommended at all. I’ve already made a report to Agoda. I know it’s cheap, but ITS JUST CHEAP. Not worth staying again. THE OWNER’S ATTITUDE IS A HUG ISSUE HERE. Hope the business will fail.
The worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. Avoid it. I booked a private single room and followed the exact instructions they sent — turns out they gave me the wrong room. Two days later, while I was hiking in the forest, they started sending aggressive and threatening messages saying I was in the wrong room and had to return immediately. I lost a whole day of my trip because of this. When I got back, they made me wait over an hour for a cleaner, then forced me to pay for an extra night for...
In the most unsinspiring part of the city. No people at reception, no one showup in 2 daya, cramped dormitoris, no lockers, kitchen is a koke, no kooking facilitys, many strange rules and impositions: if you pay with credit card they will charge you ! 10% comisdion ! The place is absolutelly overpriced. Not recomend at all to stay here.
Room is okay, although nothing too special for the price you are paying. The windows are disgusting though and have no handle so you can't actually close it. We stayed 4 nights and not once someone came in too even just wipe or vacuum the floor. Not good service. The shared toilet facilities are okay although it is only one toilet/shower to share with everyone per genre (male/female). The issue with the toilets is that it's absolutely not cleaned often enough. Every time I went to shower, there ...
Unfortunately my time at Co.Living was very poor. - 1.75 hours waiting to checkin and then rushed once able to - Bathroom was basically always flooding - Mattresses were thin and uncomfortable - Owner was unpleasant and rude when asking for assistance Positives were there are many places to eat nearby and no one goes here so I had a 6 bed dorm to myself.
Would have been hard to find if I had not got a cab from the airport.

There are not many hostel options in Brunei for the budget backpacker. This one offered an affordable price and simple accommodation. It seems most people only spend a few nights in BSB, so this simple hostel will serve its purpose for a short trip. My review is of the 4-bed female dorm with fan only. ✅ PROS While I stayed there it was very quiet, either there weren’t many guests staying there or it’s just truly quiet. There is a kitchen fitted with a lot of cooking utensils which is n...
Whatsapp system for check in is a bit odd but ok. Room fine. Beds very noisy and not particularly comfortable. Privacy is good with curtains around bed. Sink broken. 1 shower for hostel but not many people so ok to use and works ok. Not the worst hostel I've been in but not great either. 2 nights is long enough stay.
Coliving Hostel Kiulap is a fantastic budget‑friendly place to stay and absolutely deserves 5 stars. The location in Kiulap is convenient, with shops and food options nearby, and it is easy to reach the city center and the airport by car or bus. The hostel is clean and comfortable, with different room types (from dorm beds to private rooms) plus hot showers, air‑conditioning in many rooms, and a shared kitchen where you can cook simple meals. Wi‑Fi is fast and reliable, daily housekeeping ...

Room is quite convienient for we 3 friends, we have 3 separate beds and provided to us Towel, Blanket, Aircon, necessary power pulg points, Wifi facility. Near by we can easily get indian cuisine, Chinese,Malay and Western foods. Easy access to Airport and all other places conviniently from the hostel. Only drawback is the only one toilet for the whole hostel and the toilet is also not worthy, the flushout not working properly, we were waiting almost 15 to 20 minutes time to wait for others to u...
Definitely not as bad the reviews make it out to be. I had a good stay here. The checkin is a little funny but the place is nice, there's two 'kitchenettes' and two bathrooms, showers works ok, there's AC. The dorms are packed but I was lucky enough to be alone in the female dorm. Whatsapp comms was good and helpful.

What a great stay! One of the nicest hostels I’ve been to, as a private room. When we arrived, the whole property has such a nice ac system, and the AC was strong and on in our room already! The private room came with four plugs with converters, a hairdryer and neck fan, and multiple lights to use depending on how much you need! The bed is comfortable and the room has a nice clean smell. Super clean and so many drawers. The only issue for me was there’s only one bathroom on our side, but i...

Clean and budget friendly hostel. I was alone in the female dormitory area and had the whole room to myself. The downside is that there’s only one toilet to share. It wasn’t a problem for me, as there was only two other female guests that were renting rooms for months
Good hostel overall. CCTV cameras are missing which could be a problem. Also water heater in the shower doesn’t work and the bathroom is constantly flooded
The accomodation is simple yet comfortable for a quick break in the city. Kitchen and fridge is usable though only small dining table is available. Plenty of shops and eateries around the block. Public Bus #20 passes on the street just in front of the hostel but you can get on the more frequent Circle Line Bus #1 at the back on the area.
Rooms are all ok but the water pressure is low in the shower
