Ocean Lovers Taganga - PADI Dive Center & Hostel

Nice hostel if you’re visiting to dive. Is right next to the beach and the hostel offers dives. Not sociable but Taganga doesn’t have a lot of (western) tourists anyway. Do recommend!

Great place to stay if you just want to go diving. I don't recommend staying in Taganga otherwise.

Goede gelegen in het dorp! Personeel was vriendelijk. dorms en badkamer was erg groot, netjes en koel..Wel weinig sociale interactie met andere reizigers

El hostal perfecto para estar en Taganga, Cerca a la playa, con cursos de buceo, limpio, aire acondicionado, dormitorios con cubículos, espacios comunes, cocina, ... volvería allí sin dudarlo

Absolutely loved my stay here! The team was super nice and asked me directly at check-in, if I‘d like to do some diving. So I could book my dive for the next day. The common area is really nice, especially the rooftop. I really enjoyed sitting there on the late afternoon all by myself! Everything was super clean and it was easy to connect with the other backpacker since everybody loves diving.

The hostel was quite nice albeit could have been cleaner in some respects. Close to the beach, nice bed and decent bathroom. It was nice to have a small kitchen in the private room although it was missing a few utensils. One thing to mention is there wasn’t a front desk available in the evening. As such, when we went to speak to staff after 6.30pm, the door was locked. I wouldn’t particularly recommend Taganga as a destination, but that is no fault of the hostel.

Eins der besten Hostels in denen ich je war! das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und hat Klimaanlagen. das Rooftop ist schön und gemütlich dekoriert. Ein absolutes Highlight sind die social activities, mit denen sich das Personal sehr viel mühe gibt. Um das Hostel herum sind sehr viele gute Bars und Restaurants und wenn einem nach Stadt ist: Santa Marta ist sehr nah und leicht mit dem Bus zu erreichen. 10 von 5 sternen!

Good value for money! nice beds in the 6 bed dorm, where you basically have a box around you and therefore can catch a good nights sleep! Good and clean facilities, close to the beach, very friendly owner and personnel :)

Amazing, clean hostel and lovely environment. Dive school is also amazing. Highly recommend!!

This place is great—calm, relaxing, and perfect for backpacking trips or just unwinding in the area. I’ll definitely come back in the future to get my dive certification.

Sehr zentrale Lage und saubere Anlage. Sie haben ein riesiges Bett im Doppelzimmer (2 Meter breit) und die Küche war umfassend ausgerüstet. Die Katzen und Hunde der Anlage sind super süss. Wir hatten das vorderste Zimmer und es war von den benachbarten Restaurants und Bars leider sehr laut nachts. Daher auch die negative Bewertung von Preis/Leistung. Abgesehen vom Lärm war aber alles einwandfrei.

Sehr tolles Hostel! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und können perfekt Englisch. Die Dachterrasse(n) sind wunderschön und gemütlich. Es gibt Brettspiele und alles ist sehr sauber. Das Hostel ist gleichzeitig eine Tauchschule mit sehr guten Tauchlehrern und günstigen Angeboten. 100% weiterzuempfehlen!

my stay here was great! pros: STAFF!! the staff were so helpful and kind and even accompanied me to the atm and calling and arranging a taxi for me! The beach is also only a few blocks away! my best meal was breakfast at cafe taganga which is a super close walk away!

We had a privat room in the Hostel which was very clean and the kitchen had everything you need to cook/prepar some food. On the rooftop you meet the people but it's more a quiet place. The combination of divingcentre and hostel is very nice! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone.
