Dancehall Hostel

Old hostel! With a cold water shower. The curtains I the room are transparent, blocks no light and had a light on outside keeping us up. Loud barking dogs and roosters! Old bath mats in shower and it’s tired. The bunk bed is rocking unstable. One plug socket shared for the whole room. Staff seem bored including the owners. Was not an enjoyable stay, didn’t feel loved or cared for. Kids toys at the main area by the bar and had a closed vibe that the staff only sit there.

The bathroom is in bad conditions, nor toilet paper and cannot in good service, in the sink the water is always open.

We got a bigger apartment as the one I booked was full. It was a very spacious apartment all for us. We had our own kitchen and airco. So prive value was amazing. The location is far of the main places to visit. But if you have a car it is doable. It does not have a hostel vibe., There were no other guests. And we had a lot of problems paying because the machine did not work. The people are nice but they are not really knowledgeable what to do or where to go. It is more an airbnb.

Lovely atmosphere

Syl was very friendly and helpful. Everything was easy to arrange. The hostel is very nice with terrace and beautiful murals in the yard.

I loved this hostel. Nicole is the best host!

Nice place In a Chill part of the city. The staff was excellent, really friendly and Helpful. Traveled around Jamaica for some weeks and stayed at this place twice. Sylvester the owner was more like a friend, Such a nice guy.
