BBQ Hostel Ha Long 2

Restaurant doesn’t exist. Think I was the only person staying there. Well out the way of town and the boats etc. Room was really nice

The hostel is very far from the bus stops. Finding my way to the hostel was hell and a lot of work. It's impossible to get around on foot, you have to take a cab. Finding the hostel is very difficult because the facade is destroyed so it's impossible to see the name of the hostel. When I arrived, I was alone with the receptionist. There's no one but me in the whole hostel. The beach is a 15 minute drive away. And there's no swimming pool available. This experience was not what they sold to me!

Very clean hostel. Staff very friendly and attentive to everything. They helped us to take the boat from Ha Long Bay and it was great. Negative things: the location is very remote from everything in an area with abandoned buildings. There is nothing to see and do in the area. The breakfast was VERY poor.

Hatten einen netten Aufenthalt. Betten waren gut, Schließfächer/ Schubladen waren unter dem Bett vorhanden. Frühstück war gut und auch die Ausflüge waren nett vorbereitet. Wir wurden super betreut durch unseren Host. Leider ist es kein soziales Hostel, was auch daran liegen kann das es außer halb der Saison war und einer Geisterstadt glich.

Sehr sauber, Lage ist zwar in einer tollen gegend aber abseits des zentrums. Super nette und bemühte Mitarbeitende. Sehr Empfehlenswert und gutes Essen

ein sehr sauberes Hostel, mit sehr lieben und hilfsbereiten Personal. Es wird einem alles erklärt wonach man fragt. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön, leider kein Fenster bei uns. Sonst ist das Hostel nur zu empfehlen

Great place to sleep, with such a friendly staff. Went out of their way to accommodate and make sure we are safe in a part of town that is completely under construction around us. Although we were not disturbed by noise at all. It was secluded from town.

In a very wealthy neighborhood but far from anything you’d want to do/see.

Pros: -clean -facilities such as shower were good quality -modern design -staff mostly friendly Cons: -overbooked and relocated us to different hostel, and didn’t give luggage back timely -provided wrong information about local activities -breakfast was below mediocre and always had to search for receptionist to make breakfast -far away from center of town -booked a scooter that had a broken engine and not working horn

Great rooms and fantastic service! Only thing is the hostel is a bit offside but taking grab for maybe 50k VND and you are in the city center so no big issue.

Great place to stay. Staff are very helpful and were awake at 4am to let us check in. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We took a private for 3 people. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Nothing to complain about, except the promenade could be closer (30 min by foot, or 5 min by grab for 30k).

Leider hab ich mein Zimmer nicht bekommen, trotz Anzahlung und Buchungsbestätigung. Musste in ein wesentlich teueres Hotel ausweichen. Mitarbeiterin hat aber sehr freundlich geholfen!

I had an excellent stay at the Hostel, lovely family run business! When I inquired about a taxi to take me to the city square to watch the fireworks during Tet the family offered to give me a ride with them. They even gave me a lift back afterwards, incredibly generous and friendly. 100% would recommend

This is the best hostel we have ever stayed at. Jane fixed everything from food to trips to laundry for us. I would recommend contacting Jane before arriving in Vietnam as she has good deals for taxis from other cities or airports.

Amazing facilities and the most friendly staff! Jane was super friendly and attentive and overall such a lovely lady! She helped us with everything! I would highly recommend the hostel for anyone in Ha Long.

Lovely large room, had a big bed and very larder tv. Shower was very nice with good water pressure. Free breakfast was basic but good. Jane at the desk was very helpful, always happy to give us recommendations for restaurants and even helped us book a cruise, including transport, for when we left. Thank you very much!

Wir haben hier zwei Nächte gebucht und waren total begeistert. Die Lage ist etwas oberhalb aber mit einem Taxi/Grab von der Promenade sehr gut innerhalb von 3-5 Minuten zu erreichen. Jane war immer sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es wurde sogar bei unseret Anreise um 14 Uhr frisch gekocht und am Morgen immer ein sehr leckeres Frühstück zubereitet. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür. :-) Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Wir konnten auch sehr gut schlafen da es sehr ruhig war.
